what's the point of all those cards if they're all the same? there seems to be no difference between units in a given group- all professional have the same spread, doesn't matter if it's VDV or US SOF (which frankly, puting VDV at the same level is kinda funny, just look at ukraine) or if its usmc and national guard, both are trained, both have the same stats (which would make some jarheads spit out their crayons in anger)
Seems kinda pointless to even make those cards. Sure, they're pretty, but that's it. or is there something else on the back?

No there are no difference. Its just for players to use the special card for the faction they are playing not a random faction. You can also just use the stat from the rulebook, these are just a quick aid card.
