LiT is a great little movie. The fact that it was a "guerrilla" movie - small intimate staff, low budget, limited set, makes it far better than many other big-budget movies. Has some similarity to 'Local Hero' from he 1970s in that respect. I wish there were more like this.

Lost in translation is one of the BEST FILMS ever made. I was like, yeah, this is it, this is my favorite movie... but at the same time I hardly remember the whole plot. But when someone asked me about my fav movie, I said: "Lost in Translation" and almost no one was aware of the flick existed, they asked me, what? I think the story and the mood blend together so good that you don't need to remember the whole film, you just remember the feeling

Also, "Lucy" was one of the greatest films I ever saw and no one other than her could have played that part. She keeps getting robbed at the Academy Awards every year, so I don't even bother watching it anymore.
