Patience of a saint on that roundabout, can’t believe the people going around 😳
Thanks for watching.
True, and you can guarantee if they stuck their car too close to the back corner of the wagon he's towing and it got scratched they'd be going all out blaming Steve....
I so don't miss driving in London.
Driving in London is nightmare..
its london... what do u think.
Thought you were gonna knock on that silver Polo's roof and call them a moron when you leaned out the window lol 🤣 They've done very well
Thanks for watching.
Your standard of driving is second to none and an asset to your firm.
Hi Spencer , thanks for watching and kind comments.
Great video Steve, glad you highlighted what car drivers do by jumping in to the space you are trying occupy. As truck drivers this really annoys us . Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for watching Paul.
All good steve, you been busy boy,saw you aylesbury &oxford same day.
Hi Ross , was on holiday other week mate, not been that area for a while.
Awesome video Steve from Alan in Lowestoft
Glad you enjoyed it Alan.

Hi Jay , comes with doing job for so long lol , them air horns our loud on truck.
Glad to see you back
Thanks very much.
Can we get longer drives with the loads on great to watch the drive as well as the load up.
Fantastic work on that roundabout Steve (great recovery as well!) Top job 👌🏻👍🏻⛓🪝
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Steve. Just goes to show you that even a new truck can have issues requiring a recovery.
I was just about to ask about those yellow lug nut covers - thanks for the explanation.
Nice job maneuvering through that junction and threading the needle among those 4-wheelers!
Thanks Ricky for watching.
That traffic looks "fun!" Not even once!
Great job and so glad you have dashcams and everything. I bet there's even people looking to get an insurance scam going too.
Thanks for the viedo!
Hi Seth thanks for watching , always welcome.
I like that video when you can see everything when towing.
Thanks for watching them Anthony.
i thought any lane was the right lane in london lol cheers steve enjoyed that as always
Thanks Stu , glad you enjoyed it.
love the videos 😃👍
Appreciate it cheers.
A very good Monday afternoon to you sir from Wellington Somerset
Good evening to you Dave.
Must admit that I wouldn't have been so polite at that roundabout!
I reckon you could have gotten around in half that time if those two cars hadn't been idiots.
Thanks jack for watching.
Great job, and top driving in that traffic!👍
Thank you 👍 glad you liked it.
Hi Steve nice to see you back on again
Thanks for watching , not done one for a while mate , but hope to film soon.
Another great video Steve. Your patience knows no bounds driving in traffic like that without getting a bit sweary, especially with a few idiots to tempt you. Think there would be a few bleeps on my video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks James for watching , your welcome.
Lovely bit of drama there, thanks for including. Very entertaining to see poor driving from another point of view.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching.
Would not envy you picking a truck on a cold and wet day.Fair play to you keep safe.
Hi Paul , soaked today mate , thanks for watching.
Driving in heavy traffic is at least as interesting as all the work on the truck in the first part of the video! Thank you for this great entertainment! 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.
Hi Steve, at least with today's truck's and buses they can hook up a computer to find the fault a nice truck though that well known building I've been in there with containers, traffic on the roundabout even with light's I expect you had a sigh of relief as you made your exit. 😁
Thanks for watching Norman.
Hi Steve I believe that year of that truck is a 2022
Hi Jerry , thanks for watching.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve yep steve all good
I know that roundabout very well as I go into the depot you mentioned. Sometimes it can be a total nightmare. Well Done
Thanks for watching Paul , Cheers.
Super video again jimmy adams from Ireland 🇮🇪 😊
Hi thanks for watching , Cheers.
Thanks Steve , another good film .
Hi Dave glad you liked it.
Nice patience with a 50 tonne rolling load, peolpe cant drive... great video again Steve...
Thanks for watching Gary.
people and their creative interpretation of the traffic rules are always a pain in the butt, eh?
Thanks for watching.
Jesus that traffic at the end! Crazy stuff
Thanks for watching.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve found your channel recently and love your work! Stay safe and cant wait for more videos. Maybe you could add more from when you are towing vehicles in the cities? If its possible. Cheers
She looks like a newish truck.
Hi Paul very new mate.
Great video again...... the traffic and ignorance of people now is worse, people don't want to give you an Inch or a minute even with flashing lights on..... very patient tho..... couldn't cope with that all the time, well done. 👍
Hi Michael thanks for watching.
Another great video.
Thanks very much for watching them Doug.
worked alot driving in and around London for abot 30 years....watching these vids makes me think I may have PTSD
Thanks for watching Shaun.
That traffic but and cars pulling in front should of gave it some tones Steve 👌👌 people soon know there in the wrong
Thanks Dispy for watching.
It’s in Greenford. On the left is a Wincanton warehouses and some others.
Hi Eduard, well done spot on! No prizes I am afraid, thanks for watching.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve I used to work for Wincanton and lived down the road.
This is exactly the thing you highlighted here, roundabouts with traffic lights they never work because your light goes green as soon as the section infront of you is full 😭😂
The way I see it, it's not your fault there's traffic and the lights red in the next section so go ahead and block the junction lol 🤷
Thanks for watching.
nice vid steve
Thanks for watching , glad you liked it.
Just passed you collecting the horsebox by the m40 at lewknor
Hi Ollie not me mate off today , thanks for watching.
They should teach people how to approach and give way to heavy lorries in the DVLA theory and practical test so people would know more and be aware ..
Thanks for watching Rambo.
Great video Steve.
Thanks for watching Lee, glad you liked it cheers.
I think I saw u going along the m5 but I’m not to sure
Hi William thanks for watching , not been on M5 for a while mate.
Ok I saw a recovery truck that looks like your one Nice vid tho keep it up
You can understand why Road Rage is Happening
Hi Shayne thanks for watching.
Rip queen Elizabeth😭😭
Thanks for watching , yes a sad loss for our country.
Can always rely on car drivers to screw thongs up, and take gaps that you need even though you are telling people clearly what your intensions are with the signs and beacons flashing they still wanna get in front of you
Hi Dave thanks for watching.
Great video. I always thought that rear steer was actuated from input from the steering wheel. Or the cheese wedge infront of the kingpin on trailers.. any idea how it works? is it just moved by grip on the road or? cheers :)
Great stuff Steve real professional Larry Brown Baltimore,MD USA
Hi Larry your very welcome , glad you found it of interest bit different to the trucks you have over there but similar recovery process.
It's Mainly PeterBuilt'Some Western Stars
I just love your videos and I'm so looking forward to getting my driver's license and starting towing. would you recommend starting with car towing or truck towing? I just love it and can't wait until I've completed my apprenticeship as a truck mechanic.
Hi Sammy , i started out on car recovery but always wanted to get into truck recovery.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve OK thanks for the answer. I can't wait to tow. I helped a couple of times from work with towing (truck mecaninc) and I find it so interesting, even though it's not so comfortable here in the mountains in winter, but I just find it fascinating.
I live not to far away from that roundabout and it is always that busy or worse than that
Thanks for watching Mark , glad you recognised area.
Hey, I think you passed me earlier on the A34. You were heading Southbound towards Newbury as I was heading opposite direction to Coventry. It would have been around 4.20pm ish
HI Stephen not me mate , that time i was heading to Farnborough for a Dustcart.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve ah, OK. Identical truck.
Hi Steve, me again, sorry I’m still fairly new to your channel, any chance of a video of you derigging a recovery?
Hi Ollie welcome to the channel , thanks for watching will do , cheers.
must be so much nicer when the breakdown is in a yard ... and lol at the traffic lights / roundabouts , most drivers just have no clue/care/thought for what's going on around them
Thanks for watching.
Have u ever had to rescue a recovery veicle
Hi Tom thanks for watching , yes another heavy truck that was towing another truck at time.
Hi Steve, new to the channel and love the vids,
Can I ask why the larger chains from the back of the truck aren’t used as a secondary (once’s either side of the under reach)
Thanks very much for watching , we not required to use breakaway chains in UK , like they have to do in US by law.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve thank you for the reply, it’s not required but would it not make you feel better dragging a 44t unit behind you to have the added security?
Hi Steve,I've been watching for a while now but only just realised I wasn't subscribed so now I am,I'm not a driver but those stupid people at the roundabout especially the silver polo just idiots, you seem to have yhe patience of a hundred saints but I would have been on the horn and shouting at them but that's probably why I couldn't drive for a living🤣hopefully there are loads more videos to come👍
Hi Mark thanks for watching and subscribing.
Love it
Thanks very much for watching , glad you enjoyed it.
Regarding the nut covers to show if there any loose nuts, I used to do the same with the caravan tourer. They sell them at caravan dealers specifically for caravans. You can see when you do the walk round on them as well. Regarding the "On Tow" sign, perhaps using a thin bungee strap stretched across the back, with a couple of pegs to clip the sign on the bungee. Tell you something Steve, I'd give a blast on your horn at these idiot drivers that cut in front of you. May wake them up a bit
Hi Thomas thanks for watching.
I almost missed your comment at the end, “recording techniques” has someone complained/commented about being in a video?
Hi Craig , companies just dont like there vehicles being recognised being towed on video , so i respect that and have to keep there identity safe.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve I can understand that. But like you have just shown in this video, new trucks can develop faults along with the 7 year olds, shouldn’t really be a reflection of the operator. But, I guess, if the first time you see a “branded wagon” and it’s on tow it may create an image in the same way a dirty/unwashed truck always catches my eye.
When you remove the half shaft do you have to remove it on both sides or just on one?
Hi Daniel, we normally only have to remove one half shaft on a single drive axle.
why dont you just disconnect the prop. there must be a reason that i am not aware of.
Hi Ian easier and safer to pull half shaft on this truck , truck had air rear air suspension so you would have to be careful you dont trap air pipes when strapping up prop.
Why not pick from rear if its empty?
Hi thanks for watching , easier to front lift on a 26t with rear steer i can tell you.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve I disagree, but its your call how you handle your jobs, no problem with that.
I'm pretty sure it's legal to use a truck like yours to crush cars that are driven so moronicly. It's not dangerous driving because it makes the roads safer.
Those new Renault trucks are absolutely crap I've driven a 22 plate and who ever designed them needs sacking. Cheap and horrible, ride quality like there's no suspension driving with square wheels.
Thanks for watching.
hi do you on call at night or just days
Hi Glyn , just work days now.
