thank you for the tut. since im a visual learner , I take your instructions, write them down and as I work the patter I see ways to help me when it comes to repetative patterns. on this on I took a green marker and marked the top of the (knit 2) needles. this way my brain doesn't go crazy and if I stop I always know where I am. when I'm done, I use finger nail polish to remove the marks. saved me big time.
Glad tohave you on board Heather, I hope you have lots of fun with my designs, there are lots in my playlist. Tag me on IG craftycaz33 I'd love to see them
I made this today! Thank you for the tutorial! I liked the longer ribbed look of the first hat you showed so I just swapped the amount of rows for the 2nd and 3rd section and it worked out wonderfully!
Thank you for creating the video and not rushing through it. Your hat is beautiful. I am very new. My machine is still in the box. I have to figure out a way to secure it to the table. I'm even afraid to get started with it. LoL! I've been loom knitting for years. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to more videos. Thanks again, Donna NC
Thank you Donna. The suckers that go onto the bottom of each leg are handy, I use a very heavy granite cutting board which makes it very stable to use. I started with the loom too. Once you get going you'll be fine, I felt the same on opening the box. All the best Caz x
I've recently started using a knitting machine, and I love this pattern! I was wondering if anybody knew of any similar designs you can do? I haven't been sure what to look up to find knitting machine stitches as creative as this; They're all just a single stitch.
I am excited to try this next. It obviously needs much patience and alertness to any dropped stitches! Looks beautiful. PS. What adaptations if any, would I need to make for an Addi King?
Hope you enjoy making it and avoid any dropped stitches. For the 1st part of wrap 2 that most likely will be the same as it's only a 2 needle difference. For the waffle part at the top I'd suggest stopping on the 2nd knit row on needle 44 and not needle 46 again because of the 2 needle difference. This is only my guess as I haven't had a chance to try this on my Addi yet which I purchased after I made this video. Hope it works out for you all the best Caz
I followed ok until the wrap 2 rows, knit 5 regular rows. How many total rows are in this hat? Thanks! I have watched and enjoyed several of your videos.
I have a video on it if you have a look through my playlist. I stripped the machine down in short though. You can get an external counter which you stick on the body of the machine if you don't fancy the work. All the best Caz
Hey great instructions for different patterns. However I can't see how you finished it. Looked like you sinched the end that isn't the top and then it just appeared made. What are the instructions to finish each end and do you tuck it in to itself etc. Sorry I'm brand new to knitting and started with the sentro 😂
Hi Kat welcome to circular knitting. The video is more about the pattern than the construction but, what I so is fold one end inside the other, then cinch both ends closed with both tails sticking out I tie them tightly toghether then add some stitches to secure. Hope this helps
I'm sorry I'm so busy with my own projects I don't have the time. All I can suggest is experiment yourself with the design you want to create. All the best Caz

So good to hear that, yes indeed the pattern combo is flexible like that so glad you liked it.
Great video, like the side camera angle and a different stitch! Very clever
Thank you Catherine I appreciate that.

Hi Caz! Love your videos :-) Can this pattern be done on the Addi 46?
I am excited to try this next. It obviously needs much patience and alertness to any dropped stitches! Looks beautiful. PS. What adaptations if any, would I need to make for an Addi King?

Ich habe mal eine Frage
Wo bekomme ich diese blaue Nadel her auf dem Video ganz rechts
Ich suche so etwas schon seit über einem Jahr 😢😢

Great tutorial! Is it possible to do the second stitch with two colours?
Hi Katia I haven't tried it, you'd probably have to manually change colours by hand as you knit. Let me know if you give it a go...
How did you repair your counter?
I have a video on it if you have a look through my playlist. I stripped the machine down in short though. You can get an external counter which you stick on the body of the machine if you don't fancy the work. All the best Caz

Onde comprar
Do you have the link to the same pattern on the addi?
Hola, linda noche, después de hacer las 66 y la 18 , que más hay que hacer?
lo siento, no entiendo 66 y 18? Intentaré ayudar con la ayuda del traductor de Google.
How do you make a purl stitch on this machine? Or can you?
The reverse of the knitting is purl I believe, but not sure how to do it as an individual stitch. Thinking cap on lol
Yeah thanks. Cause knitting seems to consist of different knitting and purls. Maybe we could pitch the idea to the knitting machine people.
how do you keep your machine from moving?
I have the suction cups which come with the machine attatched to a heavy marble cutting board :) Hope this helps Caz x
@@craftycaz just found mine. thank you.
