I dont believe he summoned himself, Gil merely walked over. Remember, during this arc, Gil was alive, and then tiamat kills him. On death his soul moves to the underworld as per the cycle in babylonia myth where the final battle is taking place. So as we fought, you could say he simply walked over to our location to help us out.
His words support my line of thinking: "You were making such a racket l had to come" Essentially domains like the underworld are close to the throne of heroes. We see a similar thing in Lost belt 7 where Gil and Fionne communicate with us from the throne of heroes just coz we were in the underworld. (its like they phoned us from the other side)
Moreover, his statement of him being a "servant" is dubious since Doctor questions it after hearing him say it. For all we know, he was just a ghost (actual ghost) but coz he is Gil, he will always have access to the gate of babylon and thus he can act as usual.

In UBW, Gilgamesh talked to Shinji about how in his era, he once gathered a group of slaves, and see if they have value. And turned out everyone has their value. But in modern era where he got summoned, he said that he didn't see a single human that has any use or value. Now after this entire singularity, we can finally see that Gilgamesh was right. Everyone in Uruk has their role in society. They helped each other and worked together to fulfill their duty, even the children trying to find a way on how they could contribute. And they didn't fall into despair even in the face of hopeless situation.
That's why when Gilgamesh said to Ritsuka "I acknowledge you" at the end, it send a really powerful message.
I mean, Gil is still wrong. All that shit that made his people "special", still exists today. There's still plenty of people who go out and help each other, and work together, and all that, we just have streamlined living to the point where we have excess. That isn't a bad thing.
The point is that beign without value don't necessarily mean that you don't deserve to live. Having value for something is something defined by us as humans, but for example we are all meaningless if compared to the universe. The Earth itself is a meaningless stone lost somewhere in the space. So, we all deserve to die?
Gilgamesh in UBW was under cocaine, his caster version wouldn't never acknowledge that version of himself.
Luckily Solomon temple of time of is already animated for you. That will conclude Arc 1 of Fate Grand orders. Hopefully Arc 2 gets adapted!

I really love how the escalation of ruin in LB6 occurred, so just seeing everything absolutely get screwed will be so fun to watch as an anime.

Its not the first time, in the game Fate Extella, he summons himself to the Mooncell just because he heard it was something funny going on (All the Fate stuff is canon)
He is half-god, so he can do it anyway. Even in Stay Night he always choose his own master and doesn't care for the holy grail because he proclaim hiselft the owner of all world treasures and just want to be entertained.

The definition of a Beast in Nasu’s Universe is a being that loves Humanity. Albeit a little too much and in a corrupt way. She loved humanity. She couldn’t let go. In fact, in the game, the final battle with Tiamat has a theme and a title card that share a name: “Childhood’s End”. It’s a separation of children from their mother, the painful letting go of one’s progeny so that they may go on and flourish without her protection, without her love.
Tiamat saying good bye gets me teary eyed, which means if they ever animate the lost belts they are gonna rip off my heart and crush it Infront of my eyes

Also Tiamat asking us not to love her ever again, well uh, that's a bit impossible considering how much players wanted her to be playable (and she did become playable in both FGO Arcade, and this year in FGO's japanese version)
IF you guys wondering about Grand Servants, they are the absolute top of the top of class for servants.
They have greatly enhanced stats similar how a RULER-Class works, and since they're a counter-force directly working for the world, they are masterless servants that has access to almost near infinite mana (similar to SABER Alter in F/SN HF).
They're qualified as Grand not because they're the strongest, but they're assigned to their post due to their ability being the exact counter to EVIL of Humaniity. But, that aside, they're truly strong, i mean, really really strong. Even The First Hassan you see here, he is not fully summoned as GRAND ASSASSIN, just close to a regular assassin, but he is Hella Strong.
So far here is the List of GRAND SERVANTS + Candidate, and their power.
1. GRAND SABER (Not yet revealed), rumored to be a wielder of Holy sword, and hinted to be the first wielder of EXCALIBUR who once defeated the WHITE TITAN
2. GRAND ARCHER.
ORION, THE BEST HUNTER IN ALL OF GREECE, has the ability to shot an arrow to an unreachable place. I mean, this guy basically a railgun with a power of nuke, but most of the time, he just use his muscle to HERACLES all things.
3. GRAND LANCER.
ROMULUS-QUIRINUS, they said he is the first spearman since he invented spearmanship, and he is the FIRST KING OF ROME. (I dont even know or understand the basic concept of his power)
4. GRAND RIDER.
PROPHET NOAH. The one who buiild an ARK at GOD's command and survive GOD's WRATH that came in the form of great flood. His name speaks for his ability to summon probably the strongest ship in the entire series. Able to withstand all kind catastrophy. He also have the SWORD OF METUSHELAH, a burning sword which once used by an angel, CHERUBIM to guard the garden of EDEN
TAIGONG WANG (Candidate for GRAND RIDER)
A famed tactician from ancient China. He originated the Chinese proverb "spilled water won't go back to its tray".
My due, his GRAND CLASS status is self-proclaim so far as I know, nothing else known.
5. GRAND CASTER.
FORMER GRAND CASTER, KING SOLOMON OF ISRAELI, known as THE MAGE KING.
He is the one who invented summoning magic, made 72 Demon Gods serve him, and has the wisdom no one else ever have.
He is practically the OP-est of GRAND SERVANT so far, if you think summoning KING ARTHUR is a 100% Sure win in a holy grail, summoning this guys basically grant you 100000% chance of winning in a holy grail. He has the ability to see to the future, a clairvoyance,
Current GRAND CASTER. MERLIN, CAMELOT's MAGE of FLOWERS.
A half-succubus entraped in the tower of AVALON at the edge of eternity for the rest of his life. Practically can never be summoned in modern era, as he is in concept, still alive. But he can be summoned before the era he existed, like in BABYLONIA.
Honestly, he is mostly known not bcause of his magic ability, like solomon, but because he is a very well known, CREATOR OF HEROES. In a concept, he is the one who nurtured KING of KNIGHTS, one of a few people who teach king arthur swordmanship, and despite being a mage, MERLIN is better when using swords.
CANDIDATE.
GILGAMESH, THE WISE KING. (Not the tyrant archer version)
6. GRAND ASSASSIN.
This class only have one candidate, and its basically and strictly reserved for FIRST HASSSAN. He is the only assassin that can be GRAND ASSASSIN, but in a concept, the actual requirement for being a GRAND ASSASSIN is being "THE OLD MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN", as HASSAN I-SABBAH mean the oldman of the mountain.
He is by far, the chillest and most badass GRAND you ever see.
When all other assassin use poisons, stealth, technique or speed and agiity. This man, is a swordman to the very core, a bulky warrior that instead of using assassin's common sense, he just walk into the fight like a badass, bringing a giant-ass sword made of stone, a giant shield (yes, he didn't show it in BABYLONIA), and speaks so manly.
He is the very embodiment of "IF EVERYBODY DIED, THERES NO WITNESS".
His attack can make the unkillable, die.
He doesnt even registered as a living thing, he is someone whose at the boundary between life and death, and all he can only do is bringing death.
He is the very counter of MOTHER OF CREATION whose immortal and knows no death.
He is the perfect counter for every servants with MUMBO JUMBO attacks, I mean, even if you are immortal, he made you mortal.
Immune to charm and basically have the strongest mental power.
In my own Eyes, he is the unholy offspring of WONDER WOMAN and GHOST RIDER.
TEZCATLIPOCA (GRAND ASSASSIN by SHEER FORCE, but originally a GRAND BERSERKER).
The God of Death in Aztec. The reasons he can brute force his way to Grand Assassin were, well, firstly First Hassan dethroned himself (since he can reinstated himself later at any given time), and in a concept, TEZCATLIPOCA also known as THE OLDMAN OF THE MOUNTAIN by Aztec people.
I dont know about his power, but by far, he is one of the strongest in term of raw brute force. He can even outclassess HERACLES in contest of physical stats. I mean, just being an assassin (which is physically the weakest), he still stronger than most berserker.
GRAND BERSERKER (Originally TEZCATLIPOCA, but now, there's none)
They said whoever sit at GRAND BERSERKER class, is not someone drown in madness, but instead, someone who consume the very madness. In term of Physical Strength, Grand Berserker said to be the strongest of them all.
Note : Even till this day, I'm still full of copium, hoping our MONKE become GRAND BERSERKER.
I mean, who else doesnt want MONKEY KING SUN WUKONG as GRAND BERSERKER, tho I also liked it if BAT KING, CAMAZOTZ become a GRAND BERSERKER.
Heracles does list as a Candidate for Grand Berserker, it's just not listed. In this state he is known as Hercules Megalos, and is an empowered version of Berserker Hercules in the game

Interesting fact: When Fujimaru, Mash & Fou first arrived to this Singularity, they were falling from the sky and Mash had to deploy her NP as cushion in which upon impact to the ground, something happened. There was an implication that they kissed accidentally.
Also Mash will have a gun, gun yhat shoot down Gods.

Did you know ? when Ishtar blew a hole to the Underworld, Gilgmaesh is actually die due to his wound when Tiamat snipe him in the chest, but just before he died he did the summoning ritual and SUMMONED HIMSELF as an Archer. Thats why he Introduced himself as a Servant and you know Archer has class skill "Independent Action" wich allow them to act on their own without a mana supply from their Master. Thus how Gilgamesh can help Fujimaru to kill Tiamat. But after the Farewell he dissappear since he already dead in the first place and Uruk lost their King forever.

The movie for the final singularity was great.
The hilarious part of all this for me, is that even after all the crap they piled on her to get rid of her, even Gilgamesh's full-power Ea, she still didn't die. She was unironically at about 10% power, and Tiamat just returned to Imaginary Number Space.
If you didn't read the actual story from the game, then you wouldn't know how powerful she actually was
Babylonia is my favorite piece of Fate media, even just rewatching these parts of the episodes through this video made me cry all over again man. It’s such a strong story compared to the other Fate series in my opinion, Gilgamesh is genuinely such a good character, the animation was amazing (for the most part), the soundtrack was incredible, and the Noble Phantasms represented were beautiful. We got to see so many amazing Servants that you just wouldn’t see in other series because of their insane power-scaling. You wouldn’t be able to see Quetzalcoatl in UBW because if she was in there, she would one-shot everyone because of how ridiculously strong she is. They had to nerf Gil in Zero and UBW to make it even feasible he could fight someone.
Also, Eresh best girl. And Gil is my favorite male character of all time. The GOAT.

Grand temple of time is already animated and marks the end or arc one of fgo that being Grand order, the next arc include epic of remnant, cosmos in the lostbelt and finishing so far with ordeal call
In later in the game Mash gets a replica of the Black Barrel a gun considered a taboo looked and banned from use by the Mages association. Its is a weapon capable of taking down conceptual beings of planetary levels at least the original but the replica has really shown power among those levels saving our skins.
A bit more context if it wasn’t cause of Grand Assassin literally injecting her with with the concept of death Ea would have only hurt Tiamat not finish her. Love Gil but yeah.
Fou has more tricks and power that you will ever know only the game has reveled details about Fou but yeah he’s quite the little fella.
Can't wait for (if you ever will) the reaction for the Solomon movie! Ya'll probably need more context from the game but for a quick one, I would recommend something along the lines of looking at the Noble phantasms and whatnot

When that wasn't enough, Merlin and Hassan themselves time traveled to help.
When even that wasn't enough, the counterforce itself started pumping out heroes from the fricking throne to help

When you think about it Romani archman and Merlin having that banter makes even more sense when you realize Romani is Solomon who was grand caster, but because he dropped the title now Merlin is the grand caster so he got his workload increased because of Romani xD.

Since Many People don't Really Get King Hassan's Importance, i'll try to Explain it a Bit!
First of all, He is the Grand Assassin, a Grand Servant is the Pinnacle of their Class and they are among the Strongest Beings in the Fate Verse but the Problem with them is that a Grand Class can't be summoned by an Ordinary Master and can only be summoned by the Holy Grail himself If the World is in Catastrophic Danger! Only If basically Everything Else failed and the World is Close to Collapse, only then is a Grand Servant summoned, basically as the Last Line of Defence
King Hassan Here however wasn't summoned by the Grail, He HIMSELF Chose to answer the Call and to Help Chaldea in their Desperate Attempt against Tiamat and He sacrificed His Grand Title to Grant Tiamat the Concepts of Death while Cutting Off her Wing!
In other Words: This Dude is basically so Good at Killing, that He Just Casually walked Up to an Immortal Goddess of Life and Said: "You die because i Said so" and Brandes her Ass with a Seal and only because He did that, was Tiamat even killable! If he wouldn't have Appeared when He did and Sacrificed His Title to make Tiamat killable, then even Gilgameshs EA would have Done NOTHING to her
And Exactly THAT is Why He is Considered the MVP of this Arc and Why so Many FGO Players we're Most excited for His Arrival when they Started the Anime
