This is probably the most intense match up in fighting game history; the guy completely outclassed in neutral and mobility vs the guy who can’t make a mistake. Both sides really gotta give it their all if they want to come close to winning and that’s why I always enjoy playing against chipp.
If chipp was more liberal with his meter he would have won. There were a few times where if he just rc'd a hit confirm he'd have enough damage to kill.

The chipp Potemkin matchup is my favorite to watch, and second favorite to play because of how the match unwinds. The Potemkin trying to force the Chipp into a defensive position and make them slip up, and Chipp trying to catch the Potemkin’s offense. It’s just a beautiful dance of busters and blades

Potemkin and Chipp both fall into the same niche. On defense, they're garbage(Chipp's health sucks so it really hurts to not be able to do things, and Potemkin is so big and slow he's easy to pressure). But when they get to do things, they're awesome(Chipp just swamps enemies in quick attacks until they drown, while Potemkin grabs his enemy's healthbar, snaps it in half and goes 'No, you don't get to play.').
