This is the difference. Arsenal are losing and they bring on Eddie Nketia and Emile Smith-row. Of the three teams they've probably got the second best XI, but their bench and squad is mid-table. Arteta is running that first XI in to the ground.

As much as Mark clearly enjoyed Garnacho liking his tweet, and it probably gave his ego a good ol' rub. Isn't this promoting exactly what he's been campaigning to eradicate from United for years? Player power? I know its not his fault Garnacho liked the tweet, but the result is the same, the player is trying to get the manager out and Mark is the leverage

Still refusing to acknowledge what a good goal the Palace one was. One touch football undoing a supposed solid defence and a good finish from Eze. Had Liverpool, City, Arsenal or Utd scored that you'd be waxing lyrical, put some respect on that goal ffs.
It was a brilliant goal, but absolutely nobody has said Liverpool have a solid defence this season. They've gone behind in 21 games and barely kept a clean sheet. Teams go through them like butter, but Alisson is a titan. Only reason they haven't conceded a boat load.

Alongside the 3 goals that could’ve been prevented series, you should analyze the 3 best saves of the weekend. Keepers rarely get the credit they deserve on the highlight reels and even less in commentary, and I know I’d love to hear the thoughts of former keepers on the good plays as well as the bad :)

A decade or more of defining United as a team that isn’t allowed to lose a point even and the manager having to front up to hard questions yet we all can see that’s not the standard from the ownership past forcing the manager to handle all the pressure. The team is stagnate and clearly has issues and the press attacks the manager every week. Not surprised he walked out. He’s clearly been told where he sits in the pecking order whether by player power or by upper management.

Keep seeing this nonsense about it not being a pen and I can’t understand why. He made a clear movement towards the ball with his arm. The ref gave it in real time, none of the Bournemouth players protested, VAR checked and confirmed it. Penalty all day
His arm was in an unnatural position and even instinctually moves his arm towards the ball, you can see he doesn't even complain until his teammates do. It's a pen no matter how you twist it.

The problem with Liverpool is we just can’t score. I’m sure we’ve created the most chances this half of the season in the league yet have barely anything to show for it

I saw Arsenal losing the Villa game too, when I saw the formation. Jesus is not doing well. Havertz was blooming up front with Odegaard, and now he was stuck in midfield.. I think it is because it feels like we are sat there with you guys. Having a chat with mates about the footy. I love the Gary Neville podcasts and others of course, but they have the feel of a show created with the mainstream format in mind. Still great shows, but what you guys are doing is class. Im a United fan, im sick of Goldbridge blaming Man City for everything. Our attack at liverpool has been in decline for awhile without anyone really acknowledging it. i think its time to admit that Salah isnt the player he once was, hes more of a creative force now and doesnt seem to score or impact the game as much. Nunez cant finish. diaz cant finish. gakpo is useless. Jota is always hurt. We desperately need reinforcements up front. Our midfields never score either, coutinho is the last scoring midfielder we had. A top team needs at least a few goals from midfield..
In my opinion Garnacho had the worst first half out of the whole lot.
It was atrocious and not the first time. MARK knows the manager is a preacher of standards and yet at the same time the manager should overlook a bad performance from one his trusted players in a high stakes league-season defining game.

Liverpool have been at the top of the table since Arsenal dropped points after Christmas, and nobody said it was over. Manchester City have gone at the top by 2 points with 18 points to play for, and it feels like it's gone.
That just shows Manchester City are a level above everyone else. They could still drop points, but if they do, that will come as a shock to many.
I mean, being top at Christmas and being top with 5 games left is a big difference
