Hi Bro, This is Vijay Surya. I watched your videos in the OData playlist, including the real-time project examples. They have been very helpful. Currently, I am working on a big project with: GET Services: 59 POST Services: 24 I successfully implemented the CREATE_DEEP_ENTITY method. Thank you so much for your guidance! I plan to start learning and practicing CDS Views as well.
With the adoption of CDS view entities, now the traditional CDS views with SQL view names have become obsolete. However, there are many traditional standard CDS views which we consume. The SQL view name no longer holds significance and also the performance is improved. You mentioned CDS entities a few times, so I wanted to clarify if you were referring to CDS views or CDS entity views? Overall, your content is very good.
That is demo system and having limited functionality. Sap don't want to give complete access to users. We can use eclipse for the creation table, data element, or any other DDIC object. SAP come up with the CDS entity instead of DDIC based CDS view. that you can watch my next videos where we no need to create SQL view.
This is a really good video and explanation of CDS views. I tried to create this for our HANA on-prem 2022 FPS02 system but get the followng errors: The use of element kunnr of Table VBAK is not permitted. The use of element vbeln of Table VBAK is not permitted. The use of Table vbak is not permitted. I have eclipse with ADT 3.40. Do you perhaps know what the issue could be? I tried other tables and fields and get the same error.
what is the purpose of sql view? the example you created is ABAP CDS view?? then where the sql view and cds entity will get created- at AS layer or DB layer?
Initially SQL view Created so we can see this in SAP GUI. In CDS view Entity which is advance version of DDIC based CDS view SAP removed SQL view. SQL View and CDS view both will be created in DB we can access them through Application layer. This will help you to understand difference :- ua-cam.com/video/tnWdx3MVVSk/v-deo.html
hi you are doing great work by sharing your knowledge you had vary deep knowledge about the topics but its not getting conveyed in proper language if you agree so please change the language to hindi mark my work people are crazy who looks for SAP stuff in hindi coz 90 % creator create the content in english
I respect your thought. Since when we work with real time in a company. Most of the time we use English ( Foreign client )that is the reason I preferred English.

you can't use directly tables if you have enable ABAP cloud language for your package .you have to use instead release CDS views
It would be really great sir if you can make the series on Odata..
