These are all very skilled guys clearly but come on now some of this is ridiculous. Just seems like they’re actively trying to concuss or injure eachother, some guys clearly more experienced then others and tryna seriously hurt them. The guy at 20 mins who nearly stopped his less experienced partner with low kicks that he will take at least two weeks to recover from, you’ve proved your point he doesn’t need any more unnecessary damage, coaches all just sat there grinning. It’s mostly Dutch style kickboxing these rounds, basically give and take combinations in the pocket so there’s no range finding mostly it’s nose to nose from both fighters plus if you have the choice between a jab or a hook a hook will cause more damage and they don’t throw many push kicks because it’s kickboxing not muay thai they prefer head to head range so a push kick would only be smoothered or knock there opponents out of range and into body kick range which is rarely thrown in Dutch kickboxing mostly low stance, tight hands, aggressive boxing and low kicks…hope this helps

Spar wars is all fun and awesome until a broken bone happens. did a lot of spar wars at my gym for a year and ended up with a fractured rib! grappled hard and sparred hard like these guys and now I’ll never be able to compete or spar hard again. I’m 34 now and I learned my lesson! trust me you feel like a bad ass until this shit happens to you. once I found out I had a broken rib from 2 fight camps I was beyond angry and pissed off! be safe and train smart
