Also, no sleeveless, but you’re in California and we’re in Pennsylvania. Teachers typically wear dress pants and sweaters for most of the year, but when it finally gets warm, the dresses and denim jackets come out 😂

Hello 3rd Grade various charities outside of our school. For the entire month of October I believe it goes to breast cancer research. Sometimes it goes to Make a Wish or the hearing impaired community. Last year when there was flooding in Houston, it went to a school district there. It’s even sponsored Girl Scouts before. Sometimes the principal gifts a casual day free of charge-that’s usually at the end of the year when everyone is absolutely done 😂 And as for the sleeveless thing, it’s always a frigid temperature in the school even when it’s 85 degrees out. The air is run like crazy! Jackets are definitely necessary _inside._

All else are frowned upon. Make up is important. Looking beautiful is a bonus. There is this color thing. One person will shout out the color. The boss agrees. Everyone follows. The students' uniform is the in thing complete with its' blazer. Therefore the teachers have to be equally professionally clothed or properly clothed according to the occasion.

I got a Medium and I'm 5'7"! I didn't size up, but I feel like I could have sized down! It's a bit big, but I feel like any smaller would be too short! It's super lightweight, though, so it's very comfortable to wear all day!
I'm so sorry to hear that was your experience! If you love the field, I would try working somewhere else. That has not been my experience at all. My admin is amazing and my parents are very supportive (for the most part). Just know it can be better!
