What cam did you end up running? Also are the x force headers as well? If you could choose again would you change them for something else or pick the same headers again. ?
@@RunningJoe thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if the 1 3/4 would be a restricting when other brands are 1 7/8 etc. As I have a stock 6.4 with a procharger kit on low boost and a cat back exhaust but wanting to cam about put headers on it. Like the xforce ones over the other brands here available in Australia
lifter likely got a piece of metal stuck in it at the time... when I did the first cam it wasnt really bad bad, the cam had started to delaminate but not excessive wear. unfortunately 10000 km later a lifter failed and ate the new cam
if whipple had their shit together when I was building I would have, on the d1x im north of 700, managed to crack a 6.89 in the 1/8th shredding a belt at the 330 -450 and on 11 degrees of timing. So lots left on tap ;) that said if i change power adders itll be a turbo setup now
Sounds right I have a fully built 392 chrysler with a 3.0L whipple few other upgrades ant I'm sitting around 23k but way cheaper than a hellcat so far and I smoke hellcats but every builder has there own idea on how to get u there

No but if you factor in trade in finance fees and so on NO ONE ever talks about that EVER, just trade for a hawk is what everyone says...... but if you own your SRT does it make sense to take on a payment again?? And let's face it, ill modify the hawk and likely have a loan ....... meaning I probably can't afford to drop 20k to fix it when you break it
and that 4 cylinder turbo camaro ran 12s ;) the difference between a low 11 second jeep and a mid 12 second camaro but hey ill make sure my friend picks a faster car next time lol
Absolutely awesome, so glad to see it back on the road it has been one heck of a journey. Just don't break it now lol!
You got that right! But come on we know its going to happen......
Nice video! Im really considering adding a procharger in mine. Lifters failed not to long ago and just got it back

Diablotoona johan
Hey man that was the best recording of a hemi tick I’ve heard, that’s exactly what mine sounds like in a 5.7. What did your tick end up being?

Love it
Fuck it's ready for a whipple, my guess he's around 700hp so he should be around 1000-1100hp with those mods and 3.0 whipple

Do you mind me asking how much did all that cost ? As parts and labor. I have a 2014 392 charger and would like to build it professionally.
Ummmm well im still adding more and more parts.... but phase 2 was a touch over 20k canadian
So about 15k dollars

What'd you do for the fuel system?
Last year single 450 and 1000 cc injectors on stock rails
This year im triple 525s with 1000s with fore fuel rails next year 1400s and ethanol
So you basically built a track hawk. For parts and labor and buying the srt did it come out cheaper than buying a stock track hawk 🤔
No but if you factor in trade in finance fees and so on

How much did it all cost?
