Thanks for showcasing my clothing mod! We are a vanilla themed rogue like roleplay server and I was disappointed in the lack of period correct non over the top clothing mods. I've taken on a partner and we are planning on doing open jackets compatibility along with adding several new clothing types all themed with vanilla in mind. It's a long term project and I wasn't expecting it to blow up like it did.
Also with the bonus stats version of the mod you can wear backpacks and satchels at the same time.

Generally speaking, I usually have a duffel filled with my scavenging gear and when I'm working around the base, working out, relaxing, etc. I have different outfits depending on the season, weather, mood, etc. Keeps the game more interesting and fun and I'm constantly on the lookout for new clothing options. Thanks for the suggestions and take care.
Rock Shop - adds some rocker shirts with band motives.
The Unlimited - Some goth/rocker stuff + shoes.
Kink It Up - Latex and leather.
I'm surprised you didn't list the Stalker clothing mod or Brita's as honorable mentions since they add a decent amount of clothing for the military side of fashion. Great video regardless! I didn't know of these other mods and I'll be checking them out
Yeah, military and protection stuff was more of a side-quest on this one :) I'm not a huge fan of Brita's, but I've highlighted the STALKER stuff in the past!

Have to admit after 300 hours the existing clothing is a bit stale... this video comes in clutch. Hope Spring comes soon so I can at least take off the winter clothing in my current run. :D

I've found the better I get at the game the less I min/max traits / clothing / items. Instead I role play more, dress up in nice outfits, prioritize things like cooking meals, all that. One of the amazing things about project zomboid is I think your gameplay continues to evolve even after hundreds of hours because you learn the systems, and that gives you flexibility while still surviving.
A lot of people go that way I think! When I first started, I was wearing the best protective gear I could find, but definitely started wearing whatever looked cool as I got more familiar.

Hello, new to Zomboid, are all mods on the steam workshop available on Nexus mods?
I always have to look like a main character or some badass zomboid soldier when playing
edit: detailed foot wear is another mod if you dont like how realistic the "boots and clothes expanded" mod looks
0:27 THAT 100% ME !!! xD That why I am sad there is not a lot of differents clothes in the vanilla game, for players AND the Zombies we encounters ! :c They NEED to add thousand of differents clothes and accessories to the Vanilla Game ! Even the Clothes Shop in the maps feel really empty with the same clothes all time...
Hopefully these mods help with that!
i highly recommend the mod "Kink it up!" because who doesnt want to use it, and also "schools out"
Transmog is really good, but still buggy as crap. often you'll have to "reset" your outfit to make changes show up, and it's quite common for headwear to not show up on zombies. It also tends to make items with alternate textures change textures when you pick them up. Black leather gloves turn brown, green/tan satchels turn brown, berets turn almost white, stuff like that
The longer you play in one sitting, you may even need to quit and reload your save or stuff will stop appearing correctly. I have had hats show up as question marks in world, and I have had zombies appear to only be in their underwear while they have full outfits on. reloading my game usually fixes this.

i have 1700 hours in this game and am craving another run. i never play through to spring, but i feel the need to., i have a dream of a "zombie roadtrip" that starts once the snow melts away.
Going on a "see all the cool POIs" roadtrip. So things like going to the hard to reach campground places, spend a week or two camping. Go to a beach, fish, tan, and drink by the fire. Find motorcycles or atvs(modded) and taking them on an adventure.
is your RPG mod still in the works? I've took a break from Zomboid so I haven't been keeping up

I still want a mod that would allow us to change our skin color. I've tried my best to work with tights and fitness styled apparel with a gas mask almost being the center of it to cover the face of the character. I've been told it can't be done, which makes me sad. Overall though 1/2 these mods I played with for awhile and I absolutely love them, will try out the rest!

i dont know if you will respond but ill give it a shot items Despawn when i put them on the floor for some reason every time i put any item (plank,food,weapons) etc.on the floor they just despawn is there a mod to help fix that or what should i look for to fix it if its an in game problem
That sounds like a mod issue to me. I remember having this with Paw Low Loot a long while ago. Do you happen to be running that mod? Otherwise, I'd cut your mod list in half, see if it happens, and keep cutting it down until it stops happening. From there you can isolate the offender :)

Do the zombies wear all these clothes? Having the zombies look different would be more useful than just singleplayer customization.
The "tactical" military or so-called meta OP clothing are so overrated,

There is a mod on the shop that literally adds NPC bandits and the developer is working tirelessly on it and that fact that you haven’t covered it or mentioned it really blows my mind bro. The mod is groundbreaking
