Time Lapse | Hanging & Taping Drywall | 3 Dome Ceilings & a Cove

This is a quick time-lapse of hanging and taping drywall of a crazy custom ceiling. The ceiling consists of 3 dome ceilings and a cove. The kicker on this job, the customer wanted bell curved shaped rafters ( S Shape) vs the standard single radius rafters.

Watching this bent sheetrock going up, there must be some other kind of flexible material that could be used since there's no stress on it. Could it be some kind of flexible paintable thin sheet plastic, luann, fabric or fiberglass, like a shower wall surrounds? Would be a lot easier and faster to install and maybe make the seams into a design detail, instead of hiding them?

You could develop the material and sell it right along with the wood form. Would make installation so much easier and you could double or triple your kit sales overnight! It reminds me of sewing, so easy.
