While it is a shame the Standard has moved on, I definitely understand your circumstances. I myself cannot afford a vehicle, everything is so expensive. Petrol in the UK 🇬🇧 is even more expensive than the US! I am glad of the work you have performed, and I believe that it has gone to a very good home! George deserves restoration, it being your main vehicle. The Allegro was never imported to the US, I love rare and unusual vehicles, it is why I watch and subscribed. Sad that you have had so little time with this gem of a car but that's how it goes sometimes. My 1960 Riley 1.5 was not with me long but that's because I managed to set fire to it! At least the 10 will continue to give pleasure to a new owner.

George is the ‘one’ so focus your energy and finances on the one car that means something to you. Viewers will enjoy watching videos and updates on George as they will see the time and effort you put in and will look forward to whatever update you have next 👍🏼
Cars are so expensive to run - insurance is silly and no claims not being applicable to a second car (thanks Admiral) is just daylight robbery ... If you have proven you are a low risk driving one car, why would you not be the same low risk on a second car? If anything you should get more discount as you can only drive one car at a time!

Tough decision - try and get a cheap little winter hack so George, once freshly painted, isn't doing the duty in December.
These days its expesive to run one car, you need to keep it lean the expenses, best of luck
