Awesome effect with poly and snow flock. I must say you lay awake at night as I do building thousands of dioramas in your head.. I love you’re innovative techniques.
Hi Merrick, I like the glacier. Your work is extremely fascinating to me. The layering up process seems quite involved and I imagine it takes a lot of patience to do. Not to mention all of the different materials you use. As always I rather enjoyed watching you create this. Have a fantastic week!
As always great please to see you do your creations and change them as you go along. Also like all the techniques and material choices one can learn from your video.
Both as in cold and as in bloody amazing. I love watching your dioramas, the entire process of going from a few sheets of foam to something that looks so real is really impressive!
Question for you... I really want to get into doing this and I think it would be awesome for me and many other people if you made a toutorial on how to get into it sorta like best stuff to buy and materials and stuff just a suggestion.... And thanks for these relaxing vids
I know you weren't asking me, but As someone who has been building dioramas for years I recommend getting a couple blocks of polystyrene, some mod podge glue, some sculptamold, and some cheap paints from your local department store. Pretty much all of them have small bottles of acrylic paint for kids. With those few materials you can start to build interesting Rocky cliffs. If you pick up some woodland scenic grass you can add patches of green to the rocky cliffs. But grass and plant life can be expensive. So I always recommend playing with the cheap stuff until you have a good feel for it. Once you have a good feel for it it's time to buy all of the plants and resin and foam cutter, etc Happy crafting!
Gorgeous. I think my fathers two favorite words were, Polystyrene and Plaster of Paris ☺️ There is actually a punk singer who took on the name of Polly Styrene. Thanks again for your creative videos!
Hi! big fan of your work, I've watched most your videos. Could you make a graveyard diorama? I know its very different to what you normally do but I think itd be cool, in spirit of spooktober (October, Holloween), maybe with a little river running through it? or like it's just rained and has puddles?
Ha ha! No worries. I made the decision a while ago that I wouldn't include any human elements in my work and focus purely on nature, but that doesn't necessarily mean a place can't be scary...
As more water has the plaster, more time take to set; the model is softer and fragile. You have to be very careful with the type of plaster, cause I and II (Paris) need about 40% of water, but III, IV and V, need less 20% of water (the last three are ussualy used in dentistry or something like)
I think you would benefit from not mixing the acrylic colors on the model itself, but a piece of cardboard or something else instead, to test out the colors, and (hopefully) avoid stuff like having to do the paint job two times. : )
Though I noticed this in your previous video as well, but thinking you simply misspoke and not wanting to come across as pedantic I didn't say anything, but I believe you have confused the definitions of opaque and transparent...
Fair enough, these things happen to everyone. On a more positive note, I must say that the video production value has increased greatly over the last few months, in particular the narration. I'll be looking forward to your next video.

Excellent splash effect. Probably the best bit of the whole build, IMO.
I discover your Chanel few days ago. And now it´s a non stop. Excellent job. Regards from Canary Islands !!!!
Merrick, I have been waiting for a snow and ice diorama. You exceeded my expectations. With a glacier! Magnificent! Thanks. See ya next time.

LOL, love that little intro! Now watching :)
Thank you. It took a bit of sound editing! About a dozen different effects, none of them labelled 'huge block of ice falling into lake'.
Looks really cool! Great work
Cool as in cold? 😂 Thank you 😊

I got into making these dioramas because watching the videos was so therapeutic 😊
This looks awesome . Great job.🤯🤯🤯
Stunning!
Thank you very much man
Inspiring. I’d be interested to see a rock wall as in a mountain, much like your Tor only on a larger scale without much vegetation.
How wonderful❗your craft work is amazing.biglike❤
Thank you for sharing this, absolutely amazing job sir! Beautiful piece.
This looks amazing!
What about a scene from Mars (or the movie Martian)?
When I'm finished with Earth, maybe. Thanks 😊
Super work - congrats!
AMAZING DUDE YOU ARE MY IDOL ...😱🤯😳🙊
Awesome work, love the work on the white/blue shades, realistic and beautiful...👍👍👍

Thank you so much sir.
Use full video ❤️❤️
you are the best
an extraterrestrial landscape would be one heck of a diorama to make
Love the Bob Ross reference. So, you also didn't make a mistake with the colors; you simply had a 'happy accident.' ;-)
Nice job! Get out the parka and keep warm.
Wowmazing 😍 You should sell this for folks yard scenes 😍 Beautiful 😍😎
What do you do with all of your dioramas? Just have a lot of shelves? :P
lordofarda
Throws them in the trash
I use those paints, 'clay' does an amazing rust colour

Thank you 😊
Looks Amazing, I have only seen green poly fiber, where can I find the white poly fiber ?
Teddy bear stuffing.
Don´t wetting the plastic casts for the plaster but talkpowder it instead. Pure talkpowder is made from rock. And it is a good releasing agent.
very cool!
one question though, i saw you had a mold at 2:42. what mold did you use?
I think it's a Woodland Scenics mould...
I don’t want to make it can I buy it from you? Looks great!!
I need my animals at Christmas have a nice home.
Hello! I'd love to know what material and color you used, because I'd love to recreate it, and it's really good, you know
But how do you do ?.... it's so beautiful !!!
Que hermoso todo, donde compro toda esas preciosuras?
Soy de Perú, empece a ver tus videos despues de fumar yerba, tomalo como un cumplido, I love it.

@@HighEyeWorkshop Oh! like a scary forest? or a deep dark ravine caused by an earthquake?
Wait, is the acrylic caulking diluted with water? Whats the ratio? I never would have thought of this technique!!
I just dilute it a bit at a time until it's like whipped cream

Hi How are you? I've been looking for a video of you for a while and I couldn't find it. It's about a lake and rocks. Where can I find it?
I think you would benefit from not mixing the acrylic colors on the model itself, but a piece of cardboard or something else instead, to test out the colors, and (hopefully) avoid stuff like having to do the paint job two times. : )
awesome work man. do you use these things for any ttrpgs like warhammer or d&d?
White bear to plsss
Maybe next time 😊
Very good work ouuuaaahhhh congratulations 😉✌️😊😊👍🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈 incredible
what did you use to make the whole model.?
4:48 looks like you're cutting one of those realistic cakes
it lacks cracks and crevices on the top of the glacier. Cool vid howerver
Great thanks
不愧是高手挑的隊 厲害
Very impressive but i thought the water was too green and black.
Is it damage in 1 month
You should make a african savannah diorama
It's on the list.
Hi ..
How can I make the first color
Thank u
Hello. Do you mean the blue base coat? It's just ultramarine mixed with turquoise, I seem to remember...
Beautifull ! But please ! watch out where the husky’s go and don’t you eat that yellow snow !
Dark Matter Workshop Zappa reference, outstanding!
Though I noticed this in your previous video as well, but thinking you simply misspoke and not wanting to come across as pedantic I didn't say anything, but I believe you have confused the definitions of opaque and transparent...

So you could say that your foam company has switched to the dark side...
