Tropical Update: Hurricane Beryl WRECKS Caribbean, expected to weaken

- Hurricane Beryl has max winds of 155 making it a very strong Category 4 hurricane. Expect a slow weakening as it moves through the Caribbean but will still bring life-threatening winds and storm surges to Jamaica. INVEST 96-L is still with us and being watched by the National Hurricane Center.
Watching from Jamaica, preparing as best we can. I pray for the constant miracles that happened in the last 20 years or so to continue with Beryl.

We are those 3 little small island near Jamaica, that is in the hurricane cone.
The hurricane is projected to hit us on Thursday, after it hits Jamaica, then on the the area after us that you mentioned.
I thought you may want to include the Cayman Islands in your forecast.

I love these forecasts, but the "experts" have been wrong about almost everything involving this storm (speed of development, top wind speeds, etc). If you live in Texas, be prepared!
I wouldn’t say they’ve been wrong about everything. Although I do agree to the need for being prepared, your comment is condescending and inappropriate. Give these guys a break, they are giving us regular folk their expert opinion. They don’t call it a “forecast” for nothing!

What makes you think that 1pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday it’s gonna stay at 70mph tropical storm and not strengthen. This is the gulf and I don’t believe it’s not gonna strengthen at all over a 24 hr period lol
