well, in some obvious ways christians might have more reasons to be offended than jews. I mean, jews just have to exist to be a menace to the idea of christianity whereas christians existence is (philosophically) harmless to jews.
For Jews today that actually believe the prophecy of scripture; Haggai 2 describes the former glory of the temple and the need to rebuild it, and Haggai 2:9 clearly states- "The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.” ... yet it was destroyed in 70 AD, so then what was so great about it? post 70 AD, no rabbinic Jew can answer, but the Christians know the answer.

Yes and the judgment on Jerusalem in 70AD says it was the end of the old covenant age. The end of Revelation is not a utopia. Nations are coming to the new city (Christians) for healing. Out of YOU flow rivers of living water NOW.

Jesus Himself is declaring the end of the old covenant age with the destruction of the temple in Matthew 24. He says "Truly I tell YOU, THIS generation will certainly not pass away until ALL these things have happened."
“This generation” and “all “are some of the most powerful words against John Darby. One has to begin distorting the words of Jesus to make John Darbeys teachings work. That small section of scripture has led me into much truth and understanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you read Romans 11, which Jonathan references in the clip, you understand why. You also need to read prophecy concerning the land of Israel and the Jews, Psalm 83, Ezekiel 38&39. It’s not that these men have no balls as you claim, it’s just they have better understanding of scripture than you do. You speak out of ignorance. Look I’ll give you a glimpse of what I’m talking about. First, Romans 11: “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, And shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.” Romans 11:25-27 Ezekiel 39: “So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; after that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.” Ezekiel 39:22-29

Paul's letter to the Hebrews explains that even literal physical Jews were only a part of Israel if they acted like it. Every covenant is inherently conditional
Genesis 17:7 states, "I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you".
@Dgujg Yes, and everyone born of Abraham is still open to being counted as part of that covenant. As long as they uphold their end, as covenants by definition are conditional. You can't just ignore words because you don't like them
@ LEV. 26:44 ‘Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so abhor them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.
@ Jeremiah 33: 19And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 20“This is what the LORD says: If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that day and night cease to occupy their appointed time, 21then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant and with My ministers the Levites who are priests, so that David will not have a son to reign on his throne. 22As the hosts of heaven cannot be counted and as the sand on the seashore cannot be measured, so too will I multiply the descendants of My servant David and the Levites who minister before Me.”
I think the answer is in "the first will be the last and the last will be the first" , the first people of God are the Jews and they will probably be the last to accept Jesus, so the last people to accept Jesus will be the first people. The First ones to accept Jesus were among others the apostles, they will be the last, herding everyone towards God. It's kind of difficult to understand because it kind of goes round and round.
Paul does NOT say that Israel as a branch has been cut off from the vine (Romans ch. 11). What Paul is saying is that those branches that does not believe have been cut off, and those Gentiles who believes have been grafted in; BUT, also, that the Gentiles should not boast about this, and that they too can be cut off if they stop believing, and that Jews that believe can be grafted in again. He also says that God has NOT abandoned Israel or taken back His promises to Israel; and that there will come a time when "all of Israel will be saved" (and he's clearly not talking about the Church as the new Israel in this context). So there is a move (in the New Testament) from defining the people of God as a nation/ethnically towards defining the people of God as those individuals, BOTH Jews and Gentiles, who believe in the Messiah of Israel, i.e. Jesus. Paul is also very clear that salvation is for BOTH Jews and Gentiles, he even says "first för the Jew, then for the Greek" (e.g. Rom 1:16). In Ephesians ch. 2, he speaks about the wall of separation between Jews and Gentiles, and that this wall has been torn down by Christ's sacrifice on the cross - for both Jews and Gentiles, i.e. the whole world. And he also states that now "the two" have become "one" (cf. Gen 2:24 and marriage). This means, I think, that we should NOT speak of the Church as replacing Israel, NOR about "two peoples of God"; there is only ONE people of God, but it - Israel - is EXTENDED in Christ to include also Gentiles. Since Christ - according to Christians - is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets, he is the Jewish Messiah (Israel's Messiah); and everyone who believes in Him is part of His people, His body (the Church). This, by the way, in my reading of the Scriptures, does not do away with the fact that there are some promises given to Israel (the Jews) that are theirs as a nation, e.g. the promise of the land, et c. It also fits very well, from a Christian point of understanding, with the promise to Abraham that his offspring will be a blessing to ALL NATIONS (cf. Matt 28:18-20).
Israel (The Jews) as a whole nation will receive the spirit of the Lord after God destroys their surrounding enemies (Gog and Magog) with fire. Though they have chosen to disregard the revelation of Christ for so long and though they were the ones to have Him killed, The Lord will have mercy on His people. To demonstrate His unfathomable love. There’s an intense and rapid hatred growing towards the Jews globally. Those who partake in this hatred have failed God’s test. Psalm 83, Zechariah 12, Ezekiel 38&39, Romans 11, revelation 20.
Yes, the Church, as the body of Christ, and not any organisation rellaced Israel. The whole book of Hebrews is about it. Sorry for all the jews but the Bible is clear about it.

@@Teslians It is in fact correct. Just because it does not go well with your own limited understanding of spelling, more precisely, limited to your knowledge of the English spelling, it does not make it false. Stop being so judgmental.
Yes, Judaism ended in 33AD. The whole point of it was to usher in the Messiah. That is what they were "chosen" to do. To bring Gods revelation to all the nations. They rejected that, and in so doing cut themselves off from God. They literally had to reinvent their whole religion because of Christ's fulfillment of it. They wanted Messiah to exalt them above all people, especially their enemy which they despised, Rome. They didn't understand or accept the blessing it is to be of the tree through which salvation is brought to all nations. They refused to humble themselves to that purpose which God granted them. This is historically indisputable. They will however, be grafted back in (Romans 11).
I'd say it didn't end, Orthodox Christianity is the continuation, since there was never one Judaism to begin with, of the proper worship of the God of Israel And the first Christians were who? With your logic because a group of Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah, now all the Jews collectively reject the Messiah. Paul, Peter, James, all the Jews accepting Christ kept their identity as a Jew, this thought process is not coherent with the new testament narratives.

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” The answer to this question can be found in the answer to the question: What is the promise of the Torah to those who follow it? Important to remember Genesis 1:26 in this regard; that God’s purpose is to “make man in our image, after our likeness.” Seems like it is a choice of ‘Your Maker,’ that each has to make; most choose money, power, fame, etc., but rarely God Himself.
okay, so i’ve been hearing about vibrations of manifestation by alex lane from a few friends lately, and i wasn’t sure what to think at first. but the more i listened, the more i realized that it wasn’t just another self-help book about thinking happy thoughts. it’s more about understanding how your energy and intentions can actually shape your experience. the people i know who read it started making real shifts - one friend found a job they thought was out of reach, another reconnected with an old passion. it’s not all about “positive thinking” in a cliché way, it’s about aligning with the things you truly want. if you’re feeling stuck or disconnected, it might help you find that missing piece. i don’t know if it works for everyone, but a lot of people around me have definitely started living with more intention after reading it.
Genesis 17:7 states, "I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you".
Jesus Himself says “the Kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to another nation bearing fruit” in Matthew’s Gospel. Which nation is Jesus referring to? See 1 Peter 2 “you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy NATION.” The Bible is very clear. The Gentiles have replaced Israel as God’s chosen people. This is the essence of the Gospel. Any person who professes faith in Jesus is a descendant of Abraham (Gal 3).
Be careful with that one buddy. Shortly after that quote in Matthew 21, it clearly mentions who The Lord was talking about, that being the chief priests and Pharisees not necessarily Jews in general. You know the ones with hard hearts.
If God replaced Israel with the church, wouldn't that mean God could do this again to the Gentiles? Us Gentiles would not be able to trust this God, who knows if God would do the same to us. (I am using your logic to show Gods character if Israel was replaced)

For him Christ did a good thing but was not the Messiah and doesn't understand why people believe in the resurrection and his views on Christianity blur. He doesn't get "it" and wants clarification on why being a Jew isn't enough for Christians 😅
His primary motive and the basis of his whole career has always been and remains the good of the Jewish people. All his statements must be read through this lens, down to his purported philosophy. He blusters about how thought cannot be a sin, how sin must be enacted - but turns around and says Holocaust denial is a sin worthy of Hell.
Here's a hint, Dennis: "New Testament" = Ἡ Καινὴ Διαθήκη = New Covenant. Testament & Covenant are interchangeable words. That might clarify for you. Anyone who wants to argue can look this up on wikipedia pages for "New Testament" and "New Covenant." It's the same word: diatheke.
Hope to see you and possibly your panel here in Iran after the fall of Islamic Republic regime and return of Crown Prince of Iran. You will be shocked to know how many Iranians quietly converted to Christianity or restored the ancient religion of Iran.
-In John's Gospel, Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well that the time would come when believers can worship anywhere. -During the days of the apostles, Christians were called a sect of Judaism. There were still sacrifices and circumcision happening post resurrection. -There are times when the Epistles say that Christians are free from the law (offering sacrifices and the like), but sin still exists, and sin was defined by the law, which helps guide Christians away from it Jesus and Christians are the "new Isreal." Gentiles do not need circumcision. Jews who follow Jesus do not need to sacrifice using sin offerings but can repent and follow Christ as he forgives sin
It's sad how most believers are still caught up in MYTHS and FALLACIES. The purpose of Jesus was to teach people "Love Consciousness"-the state of being that involves feeling empathy, compassion and interconnectedness with others. But sadly, most believers prefer to be predators-because only the predators put themselves outside this "Love Consciousness." And then you have most believers minds filled with traditions, as solid and enduring as a rock. Therefore, most believers have abandoned the search for Truth and returned to the old, comfortable, emotionally secure religious and traditional forms-which are leading them nowhere. That being said, most believers stand in the same place as did the Jewish Religious Hierarchy, who crucified Christ. Therefore, most believers fulfill Hosea 4:6 and Matthew 15:8-9.
so i was talking to a few friends the other day, and a lot of them mentioned they read this book called vibrations of manifestation by alex lane. at first, i wasn’t sure what to think about it. i mean, who hasn’t heard the buzzwords around manifestation and energy, right? but something shifted when i saw how differently they were showing up in their lives. one of them started attracting opportunities they’d been waiting on for years, and another found the courage to start their own business. honestly, it’s like they were more in tune with what they really wanted and just started pulling those things into their lives. it’s subtle but real. i’m not saying it’s magic, but there’s definitely something to how your mindset can shift after reading it. if you’re trying to change the energy around you, maybe give it a try. not that it’s for everyone, but it really resonated with them.
"That's partly why jew-hate flares up at times of undoing, because you undo the root first" I'm paraphrasing but that's an extremely interessting statement.

Judaism ends with Jesus, when Gog and Magog come upon the land of Israel in the last days they’ll finally understand that. They’ll have no doubt in those days. I’m glad Jonathan quoted Paul in Romans 11, Romans 11 hints at the Jews finally coming to know The LORD.
I realize this is just a snippet from hours of conversation but it would be really cool to Prager’s definition of a Jew. A biblical Jew would not reject Jesus
I think also that the Messiah that the Jews are waiting for is Jesus only they will recognize Him when He comes again, so they will not be mistaken in being still in "wait" , they just didn't recognize Him the first time.
Panel talking about The Gospels has jews but no priests. This will not go where it needs to because everyone will prioritise the feelings of the jews than to talk honestly about Christianity
When jesus came the jews (legitimate) were not downgrade , instead the gentiles were elevated to the level of the jews being the (legitimated) children of god.
funny enough, i didn’t think i needed a book on manifestation until a friend handed me vibrations of manifestation by alex lane. honestly, i thought the whole idea of manifestation was a bit overhyped, but after hearing a bunch of people talk about how it changed their perspective, i thought, “why not?” they weren’t all talking about it in that cheesy way where everything suddenly becomes perfect, but they were definitely more focused, more aware of the energy they put out, and more aligned with what they actually wanted. one of them even started attracting opportunities they’d been chasing for years. i’m not saying it’s the one fix-all answer, but it definitely opened some eyes around me. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not attracting the right things or you’re stuck in a rut, maybe this book could help you shift things.
so here’s a crazy thought - have you ever noticed how some people just seem to have a magnetic energy about them, like they attract good things without even trying? i asked a few friends what changed, and almost all of them mentioned reading vibrations of manifestation by alex lane. at first, i thought they were just being dramatic, but after seeing how they’ve been changing the way they approach life, i’m starting to get it. it’s not about wishing for things to happen; it’s about aligning your energy with what you really want and trusting that things will follow. these friends of mine are more grounded, more confident, and honestly, they seem to be attracting the right people and opportunities into their lives. i’m not saying it’s the solution to everything, but if you’ve ever felt disconnected or like things aren’t flowing the way you want, it could be worth a shot. you might just start attracting the right things into your life too.

Ok so this is linked to the structure of the religion itself: Christianity builds a positive relationship between the child and the parent: God loves his son, the son loves the father and the mother. Judaism is the parent. Honour thy mother and father. The other religions, including Islamic branches, struggle with the Trinity for that exact reason! “How can you have two male gods with one spirit? One of them will inevitably destroy the other.” Jupiter defeats Saturn, or Kronos eats Hades and Poseidon. There’s no other option. But Christianity proposes an alternative, where a son sacrifices himself, and a father sacrifices his son, and that willing sacrifice means the spirit continues. Judaism is part of that respect in Christianity. Obviously this is only when it’s going well. To me, it’s obvious the Jews are still part of the people of Israel, since they are struggling with God.
12 patriarchs 12 apostles Every member of the church has a spiritual father who can link their spiritual successors back all the way to one of the twelve apostles. Just like with the tribes of Israel. We shouldn't take for granted that we are from the new covenant. Because the New covenant parallels the Old one pretty hard: Moses crossing the red sea and egyptians drowning -> a Christian baptism has explicit exorcistic prayers to drown the demons. Passover meal to celebrate victory over the gods of egypt -> Passover meal to celebrate victory over the demons and death itself Descend of the law on mount Sinai -> Pentecost, law is written on our hearts (It's very important to realize the presence of God in the temple was lacking during the 2nd temple period) Gathering of the mixed multitudes into Israel -> Gathering of the nations Day of Atonement rituals to cleanse away the sins of Israel -> Atonement through Christ's blood Confessing Also Judeah =/= Israel. Today's nation of Israel is composed of ethnic Jews, but the northern kingdoms who rebelled after Solomon have been dissolved into the nations. They had been culturally and religiously disappeared into the gentile nations that the only way to restore Israel was for God to lead these gentile nations back into his fold. That's exactly what happened through Christ. The prophecies have been fulfilled. Isaiah 66:18 “For I know their works and their thoughts, and the time is comingc to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory, and I will set a sign among them. And from them I will send survivors to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands far away, that have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations." Jeremiah 23:1-8 I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, and they shall be fruitful and multiply. Jeremiah 31:33-34 "I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah ... not like the covenant like I made with their fathers when I took them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke ... This is the covenant I will make ... I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts ... I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more." Moreover, the assembly (Ekklesia) of God continues where the Israel of the old covenant left off: The demons in neighbouring nations are thrown down, their abominations have been stopped.
Jesus brings the end to Judaism. Christianity doesn’t exclude the Jews, but includes all nations (Jews and Gentiles) who put their faith in Jesus. Jesus brings the revelation of the original intention of God was to make a chosen people become a Holy Nation of Royal Priests unto God. Judaism could not make Israel a Holy Nation even though they were a chosen people. God was not interested with sacrifices but obedience. You become a true Jew only by Faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who is revealed in Jesus of Nazareth.
I get what Denis is trying to get at. Christians have not reconciled this question. They go back and forth about what the definition of Israel is. Some think the land some the people and some the government some the religion left. Its intellectually muddled
The foundation stones of the New Jerusalem bear the names of the twelve disciples. Above those stones are the names of the twelve tribes on the gates to the holy city. The church is what Israel was chosen to birth. God walks on time and paints in glorious ways we can’t imagine. The literal foundations of a Jewish heaven are Christian. Yet in OUR timeline the Jews birthed us. Glory to God. Yeshua Hamashiach
😞The fact that this question exists is sad. The answer is absolutely not. The Apostles most certainly did not get that memo. Read the book of acts. Paul, in his writings is greatly misunderstood in this regard.
You know, the person of Jesus, the central figure of the gospels, came through Mary and His announcement of the Resurrection was made to a woman. His public ministry began at the request of His mother. He was in His mother's arms after His death. There is a reason for why God came into the world this way...and yet there is no women at the table. No matter how intelligent each of these men are, the lack of a female perspective is disappointing.
"G-d will never amend nor exchange His word (laws/the Torah) for any other one for all eternity." Jews pray that every day. Only the Torah and those who adhere to it (be they Jewish or Gentile) will be standing in the End. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. G-d gave the Torah on Mount Sinai and it is for all of mankind (Jews have 613 commandments-- many of these only relevant when the Temple is standing, Gentiles have 7). The rest is fake.
@@mosesking2923 It is no longer an acorn, it is an oak tree. The previous status ended, in the sense that is no longer the best way to describe it. Similarly, "chosen people" is no longer the best way to describe the Jews, at least not as a way to explain their current status. These two concepts are not mutually exclusive. The incompleteness ended in both scenarios.

It’s sad, and very interesting, that this is the topic that is never fully talked through and thought out. Peterson has never went in on this. No one has deeply on the internet and gotten main stream interest. In this whole circle of influencers on biblical truth.. this topic is never flushed out. Israel is currently being brought back, by Jews, as a Jewish mission, not a Christian mission. Yes Christian’s are definitely apart of it, and our nation is supporting it. But not for the same reasons Jews are working on it for. Christians just want to see it because they believe it will incite the time for Jesus to come back. Not because they believe it’s right, or it matters. They expect the Jews to get judged, just like everyone else who doesn’t believe. They even misinterpret “those who say they are Jews but are not” … Christians definitely believe Jews are not saved. And definitely don’t believe Jews are capable of being the light to the world as they still believe they are, and especially not through their nation of Israel. Jews are still planning to bring back the temple, and the sacrificial system.. and everything God commanded to Moses. That’s what makes them still Jews. Both these two people see themselves as the light that is to convert the world to the knowledge and love of God. But both have been given different plans to accomplish that. And only one can be right. This conversation is never fully taken out. While there is all this talk of Christianity, Islam, and every other religious creed. No one even knows what the Jews believe and what they are still working towards accomplishing. I doubt even Jordan Peterson could truly understand the difference of the promise and mission a Jew has and is carrying out. Their beliefs.. Compared to a Christian. He doesn’t know that with the Christian’s, he must say Christ is king to be saved. With the Jews, he just needs to be a good man. And recognize the loving God, who chose Abraham to make a people to himself to help instruct the world of who he is. All who struggle with saying Christ is their savior, but are good people. Don’t realize that with Judaism, they are already loved and good in Gods eyes. Only in Christianity are they judged for not saying a particular God man is their savior.. and not God himself. It’s pretty spicy, the differences here. And pretty critical. And the mainstream awareness and debate is just completely non existent. So much so that all of the leading influencers in the space imo don’t even know and haven’t even had one convo on the topic truly diving into it. It’s a wave that’s coming tho for sure. Soon the spark and realization will be lit and the conversations will begin.
This is the least relevant point of the 2 hour full seminar. The point is Christianity is Judaism 2.0. And the old 1.0 version can still be used on the human operating system if they recognise Christ . It's the foundation and backstory to Christ, their forecasted Messiah. 1.0 is the bedrock of 2.0 not superfluous.
its the other way around. Judaism begins with Jesus, once you deny Him. The whole point of christianity is that the big moment that everything was leading to was the cross. God didn't create a religion to be set to the bin later. So if the old testament reaches its maximum point on the cross, everyone before was leading to it and everyone before was a christian, not a jew in the religious sense. You can also say, but at risk of being misinterpreted, that it is judaism confirmed by the messiah. Although it WILL take a different conotation when put this way
I would love to debate professor peterson on the existence of good and evil. I personally think that idea is wrong, rather the existence of balance and unbalanced. For instance a wolf chasing down a deer. For the deer this is evil but for the wolf puppies this is good. What's most important is the balance between the wolf and deer. There can be an unbalance created by humans and to bring the balance back would mean evil things for humans but good for the planet.. so what is good and evil?? Take away humans and tell me Jordan, I doubt you'll come up with a satisfactory answer no offense given I hope but if I did then such is life.
I declare that the Jewish people are not ended by the 'Culmination.' But rather, the new fledgling Christians {and all the blessings, benefits, and fulfilled prophesies} are grafted and adopted into the Redemption of Jesus Christ as revealed through the long history of Jews. And now we are one family, Christian by adoption and Jews by blood, {even if some of the Jewish family have yet to recognize it.}
Jacob, Isreal, had two brides. Ruth, Gentile, had two Jewish husbands. Spiritual and physical. Old spirit and physical goes away and new spirit and physical come.

@ exactly.
So you are a full prederist?
These guys have no balls. They sound afraid to say anything.
First, Romans 11:
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, And shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.”
Romans 11:25-27
Ezekiel 39: “So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.”
Ezekiel 39:22-29

Paul's letter to the Hebrews explains that even literal physical Jews were only a part of Israel if they acted like it. Every covenant is inherently conditional
What?
God created the covenant!
Christianity is anti semetic
It's kind of difficult to understand because it kind of goes round and round.

and he did. It has been fulfilled.
And the judgment on Jerusalem in 70AD was the end of the old covenant age.
The land promise was heavenly, even Abraham knew the real end goal wasnt Canaan, it was heavenly

I'd say it didn't end, Orthodox Christianity is the continuation, since there was never one Judaism to begin with, of the proper worship of the God of Israel

Parable of the wicked tenants - here's your answer.
What a load of nonsense, trying so hard to avoid the obvious.
@@RyanODay-tl7ui Not if Israel was never the promised ones to begin with. St. Paul says in Romans 2 that the true Jews are the ones who are Jews inwardly, and that circumcision is a matter of the heart. Don't really get why Dennis obssesses over what Christians think of Jews. If u dont believe in Christianity, why does it matter ?
For him Christ did a good thing but was not the Messiah and doesn't understand why people believe in the resurrection and his views on Christianity blur.
He doesn't get "it" and wants clarification on why being a Jew isn't enough for Christians 😅
His primary motive and the basis of his whole career has always been and remains the good of the Jewish people. All his statements must be read through this lens, down to his purported philosophy. He blusters about how thought cannot be a sin, how sin must be enacted - but turns around and says Holocaust denial is a sin worthy of Hell.
@@llamzrterm, holocaust denial is not a thought... To be saying this kind of idiocy is very much an act and one with horrible consequences too.
This conversation without the addition of Tovia Singer is inauthentic to say the least.
-There are times when the Epistles say that Christians are free from the law (offering sacrifices and the like), but sin still exists, and sin was defined by the law, which helps guide Christians away from it
Jesus and Christians are the "new Isreal." Gentiles do not need circumcision. Jews who follow Jesus do not need to sacrifice using sin offerings but can repent and follow Christ as he forgives sin
If Western Civilization is based both on Judeo/Christian & Greco/Roman Values therefore this discussion needs to incorporate both.

"That's partly why jew-hate flares up at times of undoing, because you undo the root first"

The Jews are who they’ve always been. Those who believe in God & His promise. That was never an outward thing from the very beginning.
"Grafted into" does not mean "replacing". A Christian should assimilate into Israel if truly converted.
That ghastly and utterly useless interjection at 3:18 omg
so here’s a crazy thought - have you ever noticed how some people just seem to have a magnetic energy about them, like they attract good things without even trying? i asked a few friends what changed, and almost all of them mentioned reading vibrations of manifestation by alex lane. at first, i thought they were just being dramatic, but after seeing how they’ve been changing the way they approach life, i’m starting to get it. it’s not about wishing for things to happen; it’s about aligning your energy with what you really want and trusting that things will follow. these friends of mine are more grounded, more confident, and honestly, they seem to be attracting the right people and opportunities into their lives. i’m not saying it’s the solution to everything, but if you’ve ever felt disconnected or like things aren’t flowing the way you want, it could be worth a shot. you might just start attracting the right things into your life too.

The queen holy mother could be seen as Jerusalem, and Christ entering could be seen as a rebirth.
To them were given the role of being the oracles of the Most High, and of them that fulfilled the role as heralds have continued into the New Jerusalem as Israel while those who refused to herald the King are no more heralds, they can be content with being the sons of Abraham to which Christ says, God is able to raise children from the stones.
If you don't become the salt of the earth, what's is the point? What's the teleology of being the oracles of God as sons of Abraham?
Is one going to hold onto the Abrahamic genealogy, and forsake the teleology for which God had chosen Israel?

Ok so this is linked to the structure of the religion itself: Christianity builds a positive relationship between the child and the parent: God loves his son, the son loves the father and the mother.
Judaism is the parent. Honour thy mother and father.
The other religions, including Islamic branches, struggle with the Trinity for that exact reason! “How can you have two male gods with one spirit? One of them will inevitably destroy the other.”
Jupiter defeats Saturn, or Kronos eats Hades and Poseidon.
These discussions are so anointed and healthy for our country. God bless the United States. Deliver us from evil. Glory to Jesus Christ! 🙏
You guys got to get Gary Wayne on this talk such a deep scholar and understanding of scripture
The destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD sealed the deal.
12 patriarchs
12 apostles
Every member of the church has a spiritual father who can link their spiritual successors back all the way to one of the twelve apostles. Just like with the tribes of Israel.
We shouldn't take for granted that we are from the new covenant. Because the New covenant parallels the Old one pretty hard:
Moses crossing the red sea and egyptians drowning -> a Christian baptism has explicit exorcistic prayers to drown the demons.
Passover meal to celebrate victory over the gods of egypt -> Passover meal to celebrate victory over the demons and death itself
Descend of the law on mount Sinai -> Pentecost, law is written on our hearts (It's very important to realize the presence of God in the temple was lacking during the 2nd temple period)
Gathering of the mixed multitudes into Israel -> Gathering of the nations
Day of Atonement rituals to cleanse away the sins of Israel -> Atonement through Christ's blood
Confessing
Also Judeah =/= Israel.
And they shall declare my glory among the nations."
Jeremiah 23:1-8
I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, and they shall be fruitful and multiply.
Jeremiah 31:33-34
"I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah ... not like the covenant like I made with their fathers when I took them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke ... This is the covenant I will make ... I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts ... I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more."
Moreover, the assembly (Ekklesia) of God continues where the Israel of the old covenant left off: The demons in neighbouring nations are thrown down, their abominations have been stopped.
Why is Dr. Scott Hahn not on the table?
Love that thought!

If Jesus died for our sins, then why did sin continue?
its the other way around. Although it WILL take a different conotation when put this way
the set up just reminds me of the last supper.
