The idea for the name Eternal Flame came from a visit to Graceland where a flame near Elvis' grave continually burns. It wasn't Susanna but a songwriting friend of the band's mentioned to her that "eternal flame" would make a good title to a song. This sparked an idea in her and shortly after she and said writer co-wrote the song and the rest is history. Cool to think the King had a little something to do with the birth of this great song!

There's actually not a famous name under all of those who cover it. At least not for me. One band i know. I heard the name thousands times but i have never listened to them.(i'm a Metalhead hehe).
