The Christian religion began about 2000 years ago in the province of Judea in the Middle East. What intrigues you the most about Christianity?
What intrigues me most is why does an omnipotent god give little babies cancer and let mosquitoes kill millions of helpless children per year. An omniscient god also knew all of this would happen and specifically designed the mosquito and the plasmodium parasite as a perfect vector for killing them.
National Geographic why it became so popular seems like there is so many religions that could’ve exploded but Christianity did personally I don’t believe in any religion but all of them are very interesting in the way they’ve brought ppl together and divided them all at the same time
About how the churches changed the teaching and later fit it to pagan festivals.
How God brought the kingdom of God spiritually to the world. One comment talks about how God does nothing to stop evil from happening except if he did he would take away man's free will. We are given a choice to be either good or evil. It's not about stopping evil but how we respond to it and how we respond to it either puts more good into the world or more evil much like in the butterfly effect. When we react harshly to any given circumstance, that harshness perpetuates to eventually something more harmful. Wars and the loss of innocence are our fault, not Gods. Christianity teaches taking personal responsibility and accountability. Instead of asking what has God done for me lately maybe we should ask ourselves who do we need to forgive and ask forgiveness from in order to make this world a better place.
What about HIDHUISM ( SANATHANA DHARMA) been existed from countless years but as per Veda we are in 4 th YUGA means 432000 years once this YUGA completed earth will wash up and and new life will start but SANATHANA DHARMA NEVER DIES BECAUSE ITS GOD

I'm a German Christian who visited India in 2014 and fell in love with Indian culture. I found most hindu indians are unaware of their own culture. They continue to praise Christianity because of a stigma of "West supremacy"(inferiority complex) I'm not saying christianity is wrong being a Christian myself, however I am requesting you to save your ancient culture from being westernised.

i don't understand how people believe Jesus is a fictional character?? there's proof that he existed. not only that, but there's proof of his miracles, too. and so many people think that Christianity is corrupted. the Church was corrupted at some points, but that doesn't make the religion and teachings corrupt.
What is the proof of his miracles?
There are third party sources (who weren't even followers of him) who gave accounts of miracles he performed (such as curing a withered hand). One I remember is Flavius Josephus. There are more but they're in a book I that I don't have access to at the moment. Josephus also gave account that Jesus died on the cross, and then heard that he had actually risen from the dead.
Also please keep in mind that the gospel writers gained absolutely nothing from writing the Gospels and (specifically Matthew and Mark) could have easily denounced what they teached to save themselves, but they didn't. They died protecting what they wrote.

I think they kept it short in order to keep it appealing. If they dug into Christianity beyond the surface they would have to cover all the negative things relating to it. Nat Geo has always handled religion with kid gloves.

Nobody knows all the mysteries of the creation. Matter has always existed, and it was organized rather than created to make this earth. I think the matter that was used to make this earth has a long history that started before the creation.
Many believe the 7 Days are metaphorical and represent that millions of years to us is only a few days to God.
I am a Hindu . But Jesus is the real God and I have a full faith in him. Even my family members say I should not pray him but I won't listen to their words because he is the real God. My faith is real and does not vanish .I read Bible daily and do prayers regularly and believe him. He give many thoughts in my mind while I pray . And even he also give some thoughts based on what I should pray and I follow that . It came real all the times . Amen
