Please correct the misinformation in the video. Tein Flex Z coilovers CANNOT be reuilt! They instead offer a service to replace the dampers at a discounted price.
here is a stupid question, what if i want a set of coils with the focus on handling at stock height or close to it. I want a set where i don't have to swap every winter season. Thanks!
Most of these systems will still drop the car about 20mm at the highest height setting as they are physically smaller. If you can live with that slight drop, setting it at max height would be your best bet.
How do the tein basis coilovers compare to stock shocks as far as stiffness? Are they 'racier'? is it possible to use them to only drop 1 inch all around instead of 3"?
They are going to be more stiff than the stock suspension, but not to the point where it's uncomfortable. This will in turn help keep the car more planted through corners and improve the handling. Yes you can drop it 1" with these.
I am also waiting a set of Flex Zs, but what was brought to my attention, and I am still processing is Roll Control adjusters. Been told I need them, while other people reply with crickets. IDK if Camber adjust at the top plate can compensate, or if it is a compromise?
I have the Flex Z’s on my Honda Accord 2015 Coupe and it’s a huge improvement over stock and lowering springs. Not sure what brand you’re mentioning but love the ride quality since it’s not super stiff and rides like it’s supposed to
Hey guys! I'm looking between this coilover and the street basis one that does not have the top hats, anyways my question is do I need to buy anything besides the coilover? Like rear adjustable lower arm and camber plates? Or anything particular? I just want to lower my car a little to make it look flush noting too crazy.
Depends on the look you're going for and the wheel you plan to run. If you want wider tires like a 18x9.5 +38 wheel with 255/35/18 tires you'll want coilovers that come with camber plates and a set of adjustable lower control arms (for camber adjustment) to tuck those wheel in the fenders when it's lowered.
webs ters I lowered my 13 FRS with the street basis Z coils. My ride height is about one finger wheel gap in front and back. Since the rear of the car has no camber adjustment options I had to go with some adjustable lower control arms to correct the -3(ish) degrees of negative camber that it created. Wish someone had told me that would happen beforehand lol so there ya go. If you don’t mind the stance life guess you don’t need any LCAs.
Can you please cancel my order. If you don’t have the product in stock don’t charge me for it. I try to contact your company but all you have is voice message service. Not the service I expect

Someone else please upvote this, so people aren't buying them thinking they're rebuildable.
@@SS1LE_Urien wym by rebuildable ?
I guess everyone found out by now that you was lying! Lol. They literally can be rebuilt.
Nice to have. Got BRZ 1st gen with H&R lowering springs. It's very good improvement.

can you buy separate camber tops for the street basis z?
Yes, you can! Something like Raceseng's cascam plates would work really well.
