Because it isn't a medium tank it's a self-propelled artillery.
Western Cossack it was designed for an autoloader. People screw it up,the 183 was stage II. Stage 1 was the 122mm with an autoloader.

Don’t forget battleships will have numerous other auxiliary weapons to suppress smaller ships rushing u, also most of these “auxiliary” weapons are main guns of those smaller ships that can obliterate them easily.

I think I said something similar last time you played this out. So if the shell weight is 72Kg, that means you're firing about 18 cats per shell. (Assuming the average weight is 4Kg per feline).

I've been driving that thing and been hit within the last second of the normal reload. It's like the enemy shell takes it out of the breech and loads it back on the rack. Your gunner then sighs, finishes his tea, folds up his newspaper, stamps out his cigarette, and then begrudgingly and without enthusiasm reloads the shell.
Just wait when they decide to add the 203mm M55 SPG for the Americans lol

There are 2 reasons that the rear of the turret is larger then the front
1) To hold a massive speaker to blast the British national at your enemies,
2) To hold enough tea bags for the crew to survive around 2 days (approx 300 tea bags)

Just unlock the FV4005 last week, and got my 7.0 YEET!!!! line up complete. These big guys are so addictive.

I was watching a video about this tank from a tank museum, and it turns out there’s a version of the FV4005 that didn’t have a turret, it was just the gun mounted on top of the chassis and it had an auto loader

Actually the FV4005 turret was not the final version, the project was abandoned before it got it, so it's just really a big box of metal carrying a big gun. That's why it has all the ammo like this and it's not protected
The FV4005 is just like the XL version of the SU-100Y, no armor, massive gun and bullets and beeg as the Soviet Union.
Geez i can imagine trying to handle a round like that in a confined space and without a rammer. We managed to do 6 rounds per minute (for one or two salvos only) with similarly heavy round and 25kg of gunpowder (+20kg shell weight) but we had 6 guys handling the ammo and a proper pneumatic rammer to drive it in.

I also remember when i really started playing the FV4005 and managed to score a double kill by shooting an IS3 side on and Hull Breaking a small scout tank on the other side of it :) (Mind Blown)

tbh I've found it easier to play this tank at top tiers than at its proper br.
Nobody has aphe, the apfsds just goes straight through your tin foil armour, and enemy cas is less common.
I'll always remember the surprised pikachu face of a spawn camping Leclerc as it realised it was about to be erased by something almost half its br.
Germans: putting a battlecrusier cannon on a tank is a nice idea

All in this tank is ridiculous: the size, the fast turret rotation, the ammo, the reload, the B.R (same than the Tiger II... being dated 1944).
Have you ever been in this kind of situation when your 183mm HESH round hits BMP-1's gun and does f*cking nothing to him, only ruins his gun, which he repairs it quicker than you reload and murders you?!
