I felt that phly when the heat shell did nothing to the ram. (Just said noises in the background). I had a similar experience with the 76mm jumbo.

I actually have this tank in my current Soviet lineup; got it in a Steam bundle with the KV-1E and have loved it ever since.
Yay! Finally! I was trying to get Phly to play this for so long and he never did so I gave up. Then they nerfed it's penetration. Still one of my favourite tanks, and at least he's playing with it again. This thing is a seal clubbing monster when downtiered. It's just too bad he only played it once before the nerf

Idk about anyone else, but I bounce shells like crazy in the T-34 (1942). I got caught in the middle of an open field with like 4+ tanks staring right at me and my gun got taken out, I angled slightly and reversed for a solid minute while being shot at constantly, bounced every shot and got to safety and repaired (was against America and Britain). And that's just one example.
I urge you to revisit this tank Phly and see what crazy situations you can get into!

I have the kv2 in World of Tanks and yes I agree with your analogy, the kv2 is scary as long as a round is loaded, however given this is a different game the reload for the derp gun of this behemoth is a mere 22.7 seconds, which is still a long time, but with the High Explosive, you can pen the upper plate of a maus which is teir X to the kv2 which is teir VI
