it is essentially a Pz.4 F2 with less armor and more mobility. Above 5.0 the gun still works, but it is not as fun anymore.
There is no reason not to put it at a lower BR because noone will struggle to pen it and the gun does not get significantly better at that point either.

About the Accuracy.
Let me quote from Wikipedia concerning the Testing for the 57mm gun.
"In January 1948, the Swedish Air Force section F 17 conducted extensive tests with the new gun in Kiruna. The new gun was then installed in the T 18B. In the air the 57 mm m/45 performed well as it had very little spread, with the heavy muzzle brake absorbing all the recoil. This made it possible to fire a full magazine in one go. Thanks to this, the stability of the plane was barely affected, which made the plane very easy to keep the line of sight. In addition to good combat performance, the weapon was very easy to install, as it could be installed on the plane in less than 3 hours.
In service, the weapon proved problematic to train with, as its high rate of fire and high damage destroyed practice targets too quickly. This meant that during larger exercises the last aircraft in line to shoot didn't have anything to shoot at. Even when the fleet used obsolete armored boats as practice targets, they didn't last long against the new m/45"
As such i see little issue with the Accuracy of the gun ingame.
So If anything the other high caliber guns should be made more accurate (when Realistic).
And on a side note concerning the Saab T 18B.
It currently carries to little ammo for the 20mm guns.
Those guns were Fed from 60 round drums (60 rounds Per gun = 120 like we have ingame)
but the aircraft also carried additional 60 round drums onboard that the Gunner/Navigatior would use to Reload the 20mm guns mid flight when empty.
(Like in the Bf 110s with the 20mm MG/FF)
So the Ammunition count should be increased for the 20mm guns (240-360 depending on if 2 or 4 extra drums were carried)
And thirdly an interesting note though not as important.
It was common to chamber a round in the 57mm before loading the 40 round Drum which gave it 41 rounds in total.
Should just bump it up to 5.3-5.7 where it belongs.

The broken part for heli battles is that you face on reserve stock heli against 10br and all those ka50. gAyjin don't give a fuck about players, only money
I only have the AH-1G and in every heli fight I lose on long range because I am always meeting those 10BR helis with flares, heat seeking missiles and more. Fucking sucks ass, but the machinegun on that baby takes ANYTHING out so fucking fast it doesn't matter and in RB if you load it up with 76 mighty mouse rockets you are guaranteed kills. I have hit 9.0BR tanks with one mighty mouse from 3km and they explode.

That auto loaded TD is absolutely disgusting and present in every 3.3 game I've been on (my line up is 2.0/2.3). I once saw one destroy my entire team on Japan. There won't be a player base left if Gaijob doesn't seriously nerf it.

Nah man a 57mm doing 10Km sounds impossible, warship cannons short of battleship guns could barely reach that even with Radar, no way a 57 goes that far, this plane never even had a ballistic computer

The NS-37 needs more pin and stability and the NS-45 needs armour piercing belt.
"Historically accurate" they say? Just this morning I went to American 6.3 Tank RB, 105 mm T13 round fired from a T28 ricochet on the tracks of an IS-1. I see that they delivered their promise still and is extremely accurate down to the molecule.

This plane was actually built and served from 1947 to 1957. One (at least) is stored at Malmslätt in Linköping Sweden with it's 57 mm bofors akan m/45.

Jesper Inegård it’s the fact that Sweden has never done nor created anything good in the entire existence of mankind. So the fact that this plane is actually usable in game is unrealistic.

hey phly there is a swedish medium tank that will likely be 3.3-3.7 with an auto loaded 75mm gun. It's the Strv m/42 “delat torn”. 20 rounds per minute, 4 rounds in 8,2 seconds using apds ammunition in a five round magazine. u think sav is op ... huh ... just wait till 1.97 ... Also, to wet your whistle for swedish navy, take a look at the HSwMS Spica, the pgo2 aint got nothin on this baby!

I think the best ground strike plane would be He 219 A-7. I mean, it's basically A-10, but ww2 kind. High pen 30mm (twin mk 103) - check, two engines - check, radar - check(i mean, it's quite useless for attacking ground targets, but why not). With no enemy fighters threat this thing can shred enemy tanks. Aswell it's twin mk 108 and twin mg 151 just destroy light ground targets and planes. And such package is 4.3.

this vehicle existed, the panther II did not. so even if they modeled it wrong (which they didn't based on what i have read) it is still beter then the panther II. they can always uptier it.
and for the thousandth time, the maus was removed because the game needs BR expansions for it to be balanced.
@@matthiuskoenig3378 Wrong because the Patton Museum has a Panther II hull but with a standard Panther turret fitted (which wasn't it's original turret), also the British were engaged by a Panther with a Schmalturm and this damaged schmalturm is at display in the Bovigton tank museum.
There were a few Panther II prototypes build but presumably these prototypes got send off to the front when production was cancelled due to shortages.
And there is no way in hell that this 57mm could be this accurate on a plane, it's a friggin laser.
@@theblitz6838 the panther 2 in the configuration we saw in war thunder was very inaccurate as it was suppose to have a modified 75mm not a long 88. Not only would be impossible to fit it in that turret the 88 was just a proposal one that was denied at that.

This thing has a literal laser cannon. Ever notice how INACCURATE german CAS guns are (37/50/75mm)? I've watched my rounds literally go off to the side even through my plane/reticle never changed course.
OS RR can’t comment on German guns but this 57mm was found to be extremely accurate IRL

I find it the prefect heavy fighter in Air RB - great for bomber hunting, picking off alt-tab players and attackers. Oh yeah. It can bomb and take out ground targets. One of my fav planes of the patch.

This thing can be quite the bomber hunter in Air RB. Just snipe enemy bombers from 1.2km away and enjoy.

How do you get so you see all your temps and how much ammo you have left?
Its on the top left corner of the screen. Shows you everything from speed, altitude to ammos.

@@viktor.w8485 temperature usually shows up when it nears overheating and ammo number pops up when couple of hundred rounds left or few tens with large caliber guns like on henschel 129. This is poor design by Gaijin though.

So uhhh...The BF 109 F-4's 15mm machine guns have a maximum pen of 50mm with the AP belt. if you engage at 500 metres it has 35mm of pen with 0 angle...Just thought you should know.
