Wow I will never accept a privileged white man speaking on racism. As a black woman you have NO CLUE, the economic detriment to black families. Be a black woman for 40 years and constantly denied economic opportunities; when you are OVER QUALIFIED. At that point you then can speak on the subject. I’ve been a fan of the content. But please stay away from this topic your comments are Extremely offensive on so many levels. You and the staff should have Cultural sensitivity training for thinking this video was ok to put in the world. And the conclusion of this was to tell minorities suffering from discrimination to be better??? Be better then already Being better??Wow. Shameful .

I use to bartend in airport bars and I guarantee I when I started back in the early 2000's the tipping steotype about blacks and Asians was strong but by 2010 when I quit bartending and graduated from college the stereotype was somewhat vanquished by guys like myself who tipped 2 to 3 times more than the average person would.
Years later I noticed less shocking expression from servers and bartenders so I suspect they've been seeing blacks and asians purposely tip 2 to 3 times more than the average person.
This video is gold. One of the underlying messages is something Alex said awhile back: "We'll do what is required" and I'm paraphrasing Alex here, many business owners have no idea the work that is required to be successful. T. Edison and M. Jordan failed their shot thousands of times before the became the GOAT at what they did.

After competency, biggest factor is personality clash. Competency you can work at.
Luckily, most of us don't have long history of a personality conflict with a subordinate or supervisor.
The best thing when doubts about your competency arise, is - you have an instant understanding of what to do.
    Improve your skills.
If you are in a group at a firm, and your skills cannot be disregarded, you have real leverage. So you really should work at your skills and make your output beyond question. It's a huge, positive defense.

    - 01:08💼 Victim mentality doesn't help; it's more damaging than beneficial.

The only way to get your power back is through excellence. Everybody who doubted you, you take their soul by becoming so great at what they expected you to be so bad at.
I think apart of it is an identity thing. You challenge their sense of self by being that much better than them, they hurt inwards and project outwards.

Back to the topic : thanks a lot for saying all that. It drives me nuts when people are victimising themselves. We do have the choice to be better or to move.

This is the best piece of content i've seen. Why? Because the "Just Win" mentality is the recipe for winning. The strategies are important. They save you a ton of time. But you can have all the strategies in the world, but if you dont build yourself to "Just Win" and "Just execute" and to "Just do it" you are simply "Just fucked" or "Just losing".
Its the "Stay Hard" mentality. Its the key to "Just Figuring it out". "Be firm" "Be kind" "Be fair" "Just Win". easy. Done, next? - D

Just wanna say that one of the tricky things is that men tend to have fight in them, but women tend not to. The amount of times I've had a partner and she's trying to do something (say, apply for a job) and she even knows people on the inside and I'm like: sooo, are you gonna hit up your contact? and she's like: nooo (pouty face) I don't want to bother them.
In all scenarios we'll end up falling out soon after.
    This is SUCH a theme.
