Nice lesson, particularly with the classic, open A string on the V cord. In my part of the world we call this tempo a "march", but lump shuffle is equally descriptive! Important to mention that those adornments you play so smoothly are all parts of the underlying chords.

Yes, the four on the bottom of the five chord is a classic sound; Jimmy Reed/Eddie Taylor, Slim Harpo, JB Lenoir and so many others played like this (these days it makes unknowing bass players cringe) :) Correct; the little adornments are parts of the chords.....adding some movement with call & response. This does help when playing by yourself or with just drums & bass (like Jimmy Vaughan!) Thanks again for checking the video out
