For what its worth, here is a comparison of Deluxe Reverb Reissue tube amp specs and Deluxe Reverb Tone Master: 1. Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue Tube Amp 1x12" Speaker 42 lbs Out put 22 watts 2. Fender Deluxe Reverb Tone Master Amp 1x12" Speaker 23 lbs Full Watt out put 22 watts Can be set to reduced out put of .2 watts .5 watts 1 watt 5 watts 12 watts Full 22 watts Has a Direct Output with 2 IR's 1-Dynamic Mic (SM57) 2-Ribbon Mic (Royer 121) and volume control for recording without a mic Cabinet speaker can be muted with Direct Output still on for silent recording while listening through head phones and to play through a sound system into head phones. The Deluxe Reverb Reissue amp cost an average of $700 more than a Tone Master and incurs maintenance costs that the Tone Master does not have.

Good stuff. Many years ago a learned a bop blues progression in Bb. It starts on a BbMaj7 and goes directly to a Dmin7b5 on beat 3. The latter functions as a non-root Bb9, preparing for a quick-change to IV in the second bar. In your explanation of T-Bone Walker's style, you use this chord (actually a C#min7b5, since you're in A rather than Bb.) You call it an A9, which I guess it is, functionally. And you use it on beat 1 of the 1st bar, which has a different feel. It actually took me a minute to realize that it was the same chord. I had to ponder it for a bit, since you called it an A9 even though it has nary an A in it. This version of a I chord, if I'm not mistaken, is prominently featured in "Stormy Monday Blues" and I've heard Johnny Winter use it this way many times, but never actually knew exactly what he was playing. Now I do. I'll probably over-use it in my playing for a while. You're making good videos. Sorry to leave such a long-winded comment.

how did he get that honking tone is it the amp and guitar pick-up dialled .. the amp on the edge of breakup into a Fender reverb box used as a compressor limiter and master volume buffer to dial it back off the crunch and his guitar toned down and with a flick goes hot or cool (me) hearing only a little of his music thinking he seem'd to have just one really polished sound but plenty of styles to drop it into but that full Fender honk that just cuts right through is his main weapon I've never heard better than Mr Walker the T-bone never he still the greatest or should I say his tone still can't be beat.
