@@studio-flash They are two completely different styles. Different not better.
WOW... I remember Rush performing at the Municipal Auditorium in SA Tx. Saw them a number of times back in the 70's. This song in particular... We were sooooo high (remember when the cops just ignored the pot smoking at concerts ?) Came the part were the echos happened on this tune... It just freaking just blew us away. Damn good times ! %^ } Thanks for bringing the sounds to SA Lou Roney.
They struck gold when Neil Peart crossed paths with them.
I know. I always say....Budgie would be Rush if Neil Peart had joined up with them cats. Neil Peart is Rush. He's got to be a Demon or something.
Sebastian...Bach..?
I likedTriumph better. Never got into Rush, but kinda cool to see them young and playing so well.
@@dr.doolittle5617 Could you imagine Neil playing with Tony Bourge and Burke Shelley. Awesome!
@@chipmcdip8629 Pretty close to it.
This tune absolutely rocks ! RIP Neal Peart
Sad no one has commented recently yet. Rip Neal Peart😢
*neil
Yea. Unfortunately God asked for drum lessons.
This song is perfection.
4:05 Twirl that drumstick Neil!! R.I.P Neil Peart 1952 to 2020.😢😢
Whew! I'm not the only one with a crooked drum head on my left bass drum at a show! Love these guys. Like really, they held my mind's hand growing up to this day!
That drum fill at 3:34. Classic Neil Peart.
Good catch. Great fill!
4:22
Geddy rocking his "Rick"....Neil playing on his warm up set....Alex looking like he's going to be late to a High School class and they still KICK ASS. Man could Geddy "rooooooooooaaaaaaarrrr" back in the day. He can't hit notes like that anymore. What a powerful 3 octave voice he had back in the day. One of, if not the best band of all time.
Neil is already showing moves an skills that will propel him into superstardom
+albert stone John Rutsey never stood a chance!
I'm one of the few who got to see them when they were just starting I went an saw the 2112 tour back when he was called the professor
Same here. First concert was 2112! This band changed my life.
@@techboysf I agree I think if it had been John Rutsey the sound and direction of the music and lyrics would have been totally different and would have been a completely different Rush.
his fake drumming for this lip synch really shows it
I GOT TO SEE THEM IN 1986. THEY HAD A ROUND STAGE THAT TURNED. EVERYBODY HAD A PERFECT SEAT. AWESOME.2112
and alex lifeson's solo in this song is epic!!
One of the great aspects about Rush is that they never wanted to follow any main stream changes but instead made their music for those who had respect to them and they made it in a superb way.
One of the favorite band..... RUSH
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
I used to love to see Rush come to South Texas in the '70s. Damn we used to smoke the ganja and Rock out at the Rush concerts. Back when Rush would proudly proclaim on their album covers, that no synthesizers were used.
RUSH are the gods of Canadian rock
Not just Canadian....rank them up there with the best of the best regardless of where they are from.
That's right, but delete "Canadian".
RUSH are Earth's "Holy Trinity" of WORLD rock!!!
Their influence goes far far beyond Canada.
All these songs from this era, from these guys are arranged so well. There are so many cool little parts in this.
Ass kicking guitar solo. Great song and playing by all.
One of the best bands...ever !
1. Press pause
2. 1:25
3. lol
4. Rush is still my favorite band of all time
Mundo chorando as consequências do vício de um mundo antigo que insiste em ser arrastado , e a coruja dando os conselhos em um progresso óbvio.
Bruxo magnífico com 22 anos no máximo. 1975 Sensacional!
What a great song.
Rush is a great band, one of my all time favourites but that drummer he is out of this world
Old Rush, Love It !!!!
The best part of this video is that it showcases the talent of these three guys, just excellent musicians each one of them.
That proves it....as they got older, Rush's music got better and so did their looks!
I disagree. pre Moving Pictures was the best. after that album I stopped listening to them. Geddy did finally find a look that worked for him later in life, yes.
38 years ago I got this album from a friend. what an amazing ride it has been through the year full of some amazing music , yet this will always be my favorite.
anthem is awesome!!!
Their music is so sensationally inspireing and always seemed years before it's time. Incredible!!
Your right... 😆
What happens if you bring together the worlds best guitarist, vocalist-bassist and percussionist ........
RUSH
Timing even then was perfection and they never changed just got better and brtter.
Damn the original geddy can scream!
Intheevening 123 yeah too bad he got replaced by imposter clone Geddy.
As opposed to the imposter we've grown to love for the last what, 40 years?
@@1leech just like Paul. And Neil is actually Tom Hanks.
Yup... I miss the 'screaming'... ☹
Yeah, the new Geddy remake can't scream for shit. Hopefully they remaster the original, or make a Geddy 2.
When I was young All the World's a Stage was my favorite Rush album for several years. What a great band
I used to listen to that at a very young age as well. The professor on the drum kit.
A melhor banda de Rock do mundo!
just in case anyone is confused, this is them lip synching to the album track. its not live. has all the same production... Alex's guitar solo has a wah wah pedal in it but no pedal is used on stage.
Nothing tops Rush's 1st & 2nd Albums.
Nice to see this song get some love, was at one point my favorite song, want to say when I was 12-13. Lord I'm old now lol.
