I think people turn on the hazards so incase law police is around they can just stop and it look like they have have a issue with vehicle instead of doing something illegal
I learned early on a 4 wheeler will let me in before another dumbass truck driver will. I dont even bother trying with a truck, when wanting to pass or get over a lane in traffic, I wait till the truck passes me, then put on my signal on and a 4 wheeler will always let me in. Dumbass truck drivers speed up when they just get a notion another truck might want to come over in front of them. And when you drive in a big city, you have to drive aggressively. If you sit and wait, that's what you'll do. You gotta start nosing in and let them know your serious about making that turn.
