Purple Man is such a dark and disturbing Marvel villain and David Tennant performance is unbelievably amazing
The purple man is 100% a horrible person but I also think the parents are to blame. Not for saving his life, but for abandoning him and refusing to help him control his ability’s. Killgrave did make a good point about his parents abandoning him and how he had to make people take care of him. Which might have been what then escalated to him being such a terrible person. It’s just easier for him to just say the simple things instead of, in his words “painful choose every word he says!” How his powers work the easiest words are the most harsh. He was young and without a good mentor or parental figure he had to learn his way.

No matter how abused a person was in childhood...
It never justifys that person bein evil in adulthood.
@@Player_36C I totally agree.
David Tennant was the GOAT as Kilgrave/Purple Man In the Netflix series, very similar vibes to that of Anthony Starr’s Homelander.
Great role he had me scared for my life
He is an underrated villain and one of my favorites in Marvel.
One of the best in the Netflix shows
Purple Man wasn't always a grape (ist). Like Doctor Light he took a dark pervy turn when writers tried to "modernize" his character.
Purple man also has a healing factor that's on par with Wolverines'.
Purple Man: I will take over the world!
Dr. Doom: I'm about to ruin this man's life by showing him how small he is.
Thank you for explaining this characters background/history. Always enjoy learning lore
Yay! You mentioned Kara Killgrave!!! Yes!
They had absolutely no need for him to actually rape Jessica in the MCU, they should have stuck with just having her watch him do that to the others
It's such a shame that Purple Man/Killgrave is dead after season 1 of Jessica Jones. It would be nice if the character makes a return since Marvel is bringing back Daredevil & perhaps Jessica Jones to Marvel TV in a way of a reboot, and let's hope Marvel won't screw up Purple Man like they did with Kingpin/Wilson Fisk in the Echo show.
The man behind the slaughter 😅
Bro is not William Afton💀
The Purple Man maybe have Mind Control but it's not what you think it is, because he's a Dark and Disturbing Villain that toys around with Daredevil and destroyed Jessica Jones' career and breaks her mentality.
When Killgrave tried his powers on the the Kingpin. The kingpin easily reppelled him using will power alone
As yes, Kilgrav. I remember him from an episode of the X-Men cartoon, where he mind controlled mutant children.
should of talked about how purpleman told quicksilver to go kill a bunch of heroes
Best powers ever
I think The Purple Man appeared in Black Widow, Dreykov. Why do I think he’s an adaptation of the Purple Man that might have been just a coincidence. Well he wears a purple suit, I will acknowledge it’s more of a blueish suit but it’s close enough to mistake for purple. He uses mind-control and later says he use pheromones to prevent being attacked. Sound familiar. I do believe it’s just a coincidence but it seems very possible he is a version of the Purple Man.
Who came up with this guy because you have to be pretty messed up in the head to come up with a storyline like this
Same thing with 'invincible' and that scene everyone wants to watch... I'm writing to Amazon about it
With that argument, there will never be any kind of villain or evil character in any media.
