Hi Michael, great video. This has been super helpful. I attempted this today and had a few questions. 1. Is it really necessary to remove the height sensor and well panels? I was easily able to install the new air shock without doing either. 2. Once the new air shock has been installed, should I really let the jack down all the way, this seemed to crush the new shock to an awkward position. I did not attempt to start the car and inflate the shock because of what I described in item 2 above. I would be grateful for any advice you may have. Wondering if item 2 has any relationship to item 1!
Hi Johnny Bravo, I'm glad you're watching my videos. My stepson is a licensed mechanic but he's at work right now. I hope he will have time in the evening to answer your question.
Hey John, to answer your questions 1. If you are able to do it with out removing the well and the height sensor if you deem it not necessary. 2. I would definitely have the end that has the new air springs be lifted like several inches off the ground then start the car and let them inflate. Once the are full slowly drop them down. You may be able to do it fully on the ground but it is advised that you have it in the air when they are empty to not damage the new parts. Hope this helps!
Hi, What do you recommend me to do. I already replaced the air compresor and the valve. But it keeps lowering from the rear. I looked for a leak, but i couldn't find any? I have a Mercedes benz 2017 gls450
You should always contact a license professional when installing or repairing. Thanks for watching!!
Excellent, clear video and not even a word said! Brilliant. Thank you.

You may have air leaks in your Rear Air Suspension.
I have the same car, same issue . Any resolution. Replaces compressor, solenoid valve and air bags
Replace the defective air springs first then air compressor if is issue still persists.
