i dont know anymore, i have been shit at it since the start, even 1,5 years in, still cant make kickroll match my lead
@@BrinkBreaker dont be so hard on yourself! I find blasting it loud and kinda shadowboxing on it works well in finding the right places :)

One thing I'm struggling with is making kick rolls, pitching kicks and making the kick rolls sound on key. I can't find any video on making a rawstyle DROP from scratch in-depth
@@RK9NE rawstyle drop from scratch and in depth would be two different videos. like I can talk about kickrolls alone long enough for a full video. But I wanna do all and I have no reason not to. Stay tuned;)

i guess like leading them into a direction when they get stuck to get an inside on thought process in realtime but this would probably work better with someone who wasnt a beginner but like a novice. Looking forward to the full song series 👀

Man's funny!.. I'm hoping to get into making hardstyle - including my own melodies. I'm 30 and been a hardstyle fan for 20 years yes since I was 10 maybe a little younger. I'm unable to work due to health problems, my brother is giving me his gaming PC so decided to learn more about mixing and creating hardstyle.

So I had to look it up. Because it was never definite here. But it seems hardstyle is a type of techno, mixed and influenced by other types of techno.
Perhaps with the older brand. But it also has undenyable influences from pop, gabber and general edm. Dunno, but its definitly interesting :D

I appreciate the "Lingo" parts, it's very helpful. But I have some questions about it:
1. What's the difference between climax and drop? Are they the same thing?
2. What exactly is mid intro?
Drop is a collection term for every kind of drop. Climax usualy refers to the main drop in a song. Often a melodic one.
A mid intro is a non melodic drop that comes before the mid point of the song. If the first drop of a song is non melodic its a mid intro :)
