My dad is the gentleman that says there are 50 beers for everyone to share. He just passed on Tuesday and due to the cancer he passed from his voice hasn't been that way in almost a year. I literally cried being able to hear even that snippet of dad being dad again. Thank you.
I’m from the ghettos of Afghanistan and this is a wonderful song to take me away just closing my eyes and enjoy the song.. Much love and respect to everybody everywhere
Wow, I heard this on a rock alternative radio station today for the first time. I thought it was a singer from the 60's or 70's. I did an online search for the artist and was blown away that this is a new singer. I hope this starts a trend that good old country music is finally back again. I am so sick of the pop sounding phony music that is called country today.
It’s been out a lot of years and is still a great song but I have anything but low expectations. I always have high expectations. Thanks Jesus for helping me see some wins on the teams and countries I like. 🇺🇸🇮🇱✝️
Was the spirit of Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn transferred to her soul? Better than 98% of so called country pop vomit released today. Better than 90% of the Rock & Roll crap released today as well. +Brittany B country officially died when they refused to play songs from Johnny Cash in the Mid to Late 90's. Unchained album wasn't played at all. MTV was playing "Hurt" a solid two months before CMT. Sorry you didn't get the memo.
Margo Price is in a class with the _real_ country greats! Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline & Loretta Lynn. I loath today's 'new age country music'. Margo Price is classic, real & a cut _way_ above the rest! I'd love to see her do a song with Dolly Parton!!!
In the same week that we lose the legendary Merle Haggard, Margo Price appears on SNL This girl's traditional sound is a welcome & soothing salve! AN INSTANTLY CLASSIC SOUND! Margo Price is TERRIFIC!!
OMG, have my prayers been answered? This lady is amazing. Headed for the record store right now. What was old is new again. This is REAL COUNTRY MUSIC.
@M VGA - This _is_ real country music. What's usually on the radio today is 'New age country rock' & it's just like nails down a chalkboard. LOL! This little lady is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bob BranumI've been writing country songs for a long time, I think Nashville is killing real country music. It great to see people still get the point about the music. The music is not about the alcohol it's about the getting over you. I hope you make a mountain of money and stay on top. Keep writing, you did this, not the industry.
You do know that Third Man Records, her record label (or Jack White's to be exact), is in Nashville, right? Margo lives here. The independent radio station here in Nashville plays her stuff & promotes her shows all the time. She sells out all her shows here... So, the problem is not Nashville, it's the mainstream, corporate country radio stations that don't play her music & the ignorant masses outside Nashville that eat up this new bro-Country crap.
Found her off the James corden show, I'm not a huge country fan, but she's old school country, not this new shit, can't believe their isn't a lot more views,
+Brittany B, agree the voice is much reminiscent of miss tillis, but even pam herself credits lynn with her music career, style & songs choices. Do margo & pam have have smoother voices? absolutely! Is lynn dumb & cant sing? i think maybe your dumb & cant sing..lol..jk..no hard feelings actully love all 3 mentioned artist..
+Brittany B so much for "lol" & "no hard feelings" huh. Guess your not dumb but sure do seem to be a tightly wound 22yr old...geez..grab a beer & enjoy the music more.
+Brittany B "tightly wound" just means you seem to get upset easy...all my remarks where in jest & good humor, but your a touchy individual..hope life gets better for ya'...btw keep jef lopez as a name choice for that new young'n..
+Brittany B well congrats on having the perfect life. things can always get better young lady. guess what? I'm American too! born&raised...i assume you will want the last word here so looking forward to hear from ya. #loveourchats....btw i hate the name jef too..my middle names david if it helps, good biblical hebrew name not to un-American...
+Brittany B you are correct, latin roots all 4 of us but American non the less. jlo is a Puerto Rico descendent btw. My only goal was to support margo as future country royalty. Alongside Lynn & Tillis. Also you should give lynn another listing to, maybe not for everyone but one of my fav's...so long Britt B, best wishes on you & your fam!
Just saw her in Burlington, VT. WOW. This girl can sing. What a performance. If I dare say she is even better live if you can imagine. And the band is one hell of thing.
First I heard of her was on Outlaw Country on Sirius XM covering Bobbie Gentry's "he made a woman out of me" and I thought it was an old cover from the 70's or 80's. Had to look her up. Nice to see the younger generation keeping the traditional sound alive.
Thanks for this song on international Bereaved Mother’s Day. For those of us that never drank before, during, or right after our planned pregnancy and still lost our children. March of dimes and lots of other info read and still almost died and my daughter did due to HELLP syndrome that went undiagnosed until too late and now been abandoned by her father many years later. I thank God I’m still living and free. God’s got me and my baby in heaven. Margo’s story is probably much different than mine but I can empathize and think she can sang.
I heard this album on Outlaw Country on Steve Earle's show. She is pretty cool. I don't know about "the female Sturgill"? he's real damn good! By anyone's standards! This girl has got a little way to go! But, she is good!
There's a difference between "cliched" and "timeless". Drinking songs are timeless; as long as folks keep drowning their sorrows in ethanol, there will always be a place for whiskey songs.
Never get tired of re-watching this. Margo price is the real deal, bringing real country music to our lives and she isn't some phony wannabe bubblegum pop princess that nashville seems to always want to prop up
Third Man Records, who I have been a supporter of for a long time, always sign quality, authentic and talented acts to their label, as well as being Jack White's musical outlet. I don't usually listen to country all that much, but I have to say the fact that there are some bluesy elements make me enjoy much more.
Eat your heart out, Taylor. Margo is the real deal.
She's like a breath of old style country...
A little of Tammy and a touch of Waylon.
My dad is the gentleman that says there are 50 beers for everyone to share. He just passed on Tuesday and due to the cancer he passed from his voice hasn't been that way in almost a year. I literally cried being able to hear even that snippet of dad being dad again. Thank you.
We'll all remember him for this now.
As a sober alcoholic, this hits the heart
I’m from the ghettos of Afghanistan and this is a wonderful song to take me away just closing my eyes and enjoy the song..

hollywood101usa checkout Midland, Daniel Donato, Jade Bird all great artists
This has been out for years just not everyone has heard it yet.I just love her singing.
I swear I refused to believe this wasn't Neko Case until I actually saw Ms. Price in the video! It's uncanny.
It’s been out a lot of years and is still a great song but I have anything but low expectations. I always have high expectations. Thanks Jesus for helping me see some wins on the teams and countries I like. 🇺🇸🇮🇱✝️
This is how country music used to sound. Maybe this is the beginning of a revival?
+JaneJeffer we can pray and dream that it is!!!!

I'd love to see her do a song with Dolly Parton!!!
I've been sober for nearly two years and this song makes me feel like getting fucked up.
Hallelujah someone found the defibrillator, put the paddles on both sides of this girls record, and resuscitated Country Music.
@WARREN CARTER - You tell em Sir!
Today's 'New age country rock' is just like nails down a chalkboard. LOL!
BUT _this_ lil lady does it right!!
Amen. Mmm, I feel it to my toes, amen. This is the way country needs to be again.
She is awesome! Just saw her on SNL I am a fan!

Lea Anne Womack
This song just doesn't age. Loved it a few years ago, love it now ❤
I'm not really into country music, but I'm loving all of her music .. something about her voice, its beautiful!!!
@Jas Monique -This is what _real_ country music is! You can feel her soul.
The crap on the radio is 'New age country rock' & It's horrible.
She's real. That's all.
Great tune, and I love the steel guitar which I really miss in today's Country!
She's a hell of a lyricist.
I'm not a country music fan, but it's hard not to like this... Especially when you live in the same town where she grew up! Cheers from Aledo, IL!
This is old school country to me I hope this is the end of pop country and the beginning of old school country.
I'm not a country fan but I thumbs this up to show my support.
See, there's still good country out there!
I just saw her on Saturday Night Live and was so impressed. Way to put the heart and soul back into country music.
Not a country fan but DAMN! The women is amazing!
@M VGA - This _is_ real country music.

Need more of this.
i could trade 4 lauren anytime
And that is how country is ment to be, love from Australia
Gungy none of that Keith Urban crap. He was so good back then but sadly he went pop country. :’(
True country twang. Amazing voice.
Margo Price is incredibly beautiful and talented. What a package, she knows her classic country, which I love!
It's great when something old is new again!! Great song!!

Instant Classic Country Song and Singer!!!!Thanks Margo!! USRT 23 Country Music Podcast
This song should have millions of views and likes. Music as it was meant to be.
Good music isn't popular anymore. This generation was brought up with garbage.
She's absolutely fantastic!!❤
Found her off the James corden show, I'm not a huge country fan, but she's old school country, not this new shit, can't believe their isn't a lot more views,
I used to drink like this; I wake up in the morning and am still surprised that I survived.
Oh yeah...So glad I found this gal...a bit Lee Ann mixed with a Miranda edge and a Patsy cry in her voice...Love it!!
Got to meet and hear Margo about 2yrs ago what an amazing chick actually got to chill and drink wit her A lil after the show love love love love margo
such talent...simply amazing!
This is the kind of country music I can actually listen to! Thank you, Tony Bourdain for helping me find Margo!
I suppose we now know how Loretta Lynn would handle a Waylon Jennings outlaw song! Rock solid timeless country gold!!

REAL COUNTRY!

Thomas Wagner Agree!
First I heard of her was on Outlaw Country on Sirius XM covering Bobbie Gentry's "he made a woman out of me" and I thought it was an old cover from the 70's or 80's. Had to look her up. Nice to see the younger generation keeping the traditional sound alive.
First time listening to Margo. Wow she is pure country gold. 💙
Saw her on Charlie Rose, this Lady is the goods! We need more total musicians like her! And the 2016 Grammy for Album of the year goes to. . . .😉
She's great
Don't like country too much but I could get used to Margo price. She did a great interview on fresh air.
Awesome job.
Amazing when one pays her dues. Margo deserves good things. Treat her good.

I love a woman who loves the smoke!
You damn right, she's a new outlaw. About damn time
Outlaw country! Long live Sturgill, Stapleton, and Price
So original! Another young blonde who knows four chords on the guitar.
She's the female Sturgill. Save country for us, Margo.
check out Whitey Morgna & The 78s as well as Cody Jinks. Both are just as amazing! Real country is making a comeback for sure.
I heard this album on Outlaw Country on Steve Earle's show. She is pretty cool. I don't know about "the female Sturgill"? he's real damn good! By anyone's standards! This girl has got a little way to go! But, she is
good!
I am a soidier in that war. Check me out. Hate the new crap.
More like hipster country.
@@Chris-kd4tu If by "hipster country" you mean "better than than the shit on mainstream radio, and much more like real country," I agree.
She is the, realest thing country has, since in a long time
I love how every now and then, this channel gives me county. I am from Europe and I don't usually listen to country, but TMR always has good stuff. :)
Classic country beat with talented singer and band and a classic overview video with some modern scenes. Not my thing but I wish it well.
Finally! some real country, none of that generic watered down crap
on the radio!
I don't even like country music ... but she speaks the truth ☝👌👏
April Henderson True country isn't as shity
April Henderson Willie Nelson and Ray Charles
Awesome song and excellent article on NYT Magazine 0n 3/15/16
+Charlie Alter That article's what got me listening!
Just heard this song this morning for the first time in years. Can't believe it slipped my mind. What a jam.
Not much for C&W music but I do like this song! She seems to pull you in with that certain something you can't see.
Just ordered this single from the UK superb
There's a difference between "cliched" and "timeless". Drinking songs are timeless; as long as folks keep drowning their sorrows in ethanol, there will always be a place for whiskey songs.
Great, really really great !!
Great song, keep it country.
Love the original music.
Didn’t know I needed this now I can’t live without it.
the new queen of country!!!!!
real country....not that "tractor rap" bullshit!!
Amen! Twang and a slide guitar! A come back for the real thing....?
Amen. And that "Cow Punk" needs to be shown the door too.
New fan here !!!
Never get tired of re-watching this. Margo price is the real deal, bringing real country music to our lives and she isn't some phony wannabe bubblegum pop princess that nashville seems to always want to prop up
Just happened to see Anthony Bourdain last and this little gal was on....she fucking rocks!!!! What a hidden gem!!!!!
Why am I just now finding out about Margo Price! Girl is awesome!
still love this song
That steel guitar tho! Where ya been all these years!

Love her sound country's coming back now 👍👍👍
She is perfect. I am in love.
She just shotgunned some one, i'm in love lol. Love this song too!
Awesome !!!
Looking forward to the performance tonight on Colbert!!
I want to know where I can find $2 beers!!! Lol ❤️❤️❤️ Margo!
Queen!
The way she sings "pain" I feel it.
I know !
Wall of Sound me trajo aquí, amo ese programa.
Siempre algo nuevo bueno por escuchar.
Just got two Vinyl copies. One for me, one for my cousin. Hooked
It's hard to acknowledge an outsider's point of view when this is the life you live. Margo, you are awesome. Keep on representin' us.
My god she has the most beautiful voice.
This is what country music is for me. If it don't have some steel guitar...you can keep it.
That’s a great song still today even if you’re not drinking like that or even if you are.
Now this is country....
Thank you I've been waiting for real county music for such a long time
Excited to see her performance on SNL!!
+TBEAR I couldn't believe SNL di this!!! I was shocked and surprised the newest hip hop talking guy didn't "sing".
She's the best!
I love this woman. I will be seeing her this Saturday in NYC. Great tune. Great voice.
