The only thing I dont like about this battle is how the ship is permanently broken
Yeh it kinda runs the beauty of the ship
It ruins it even more when you think of how his forces shoot it down at the very end.

Now every time I fight Propeller Knight in another campaign after playing this one I only just now notice he drops a rose

You either choose for a fun battle + 100% completion... or you keep your ship intact.
I think it's silly you can't pay Mr Hat for repairs.

And that's how my liking for Propeller Knight plummeted.

This fight didn’t really hurt my opinion of Propeller Knight; His joustus match on the other hand REALLY caused my liking for him to plummet.

HyperDragoonHx Trust me I now know. Sure attacking someone over a something minor like a rose is one thing, but having an incredibly tedious deck on probably the most tedious board to play on (seriously you can hardly make any moves on that board without cascade cards of your own) is truly the mark of a massive scoundrel.

Well at least he is in Showdown and he is my main for the time
The DLC was settled around 2014. There was a poll to see which three boss knights would receive campaigns. Obviously, Plague, Specter, and King won out. However, the story of Shovel Knight is far from over. All this has been only the beginning game for Yacht Club.
I hope there's something for Mole, Treasure and Polar in SK Dig (Tinker doesn't fit too much in the plot, Propeller just doesn't fit in the plot)

No you cant
You cannot fix it but with golden plating it will look just slightly better. If you really want you can start new game plus and never pick up the rose, which will make the ship fixed again
I remover getting the rose and being super confused what to do with it.

I found explosive cards and the cards with extra pushes helped.
So what is the deal with Propeller Knight and that rose?
Propeller knight is a romance freak. If you noticed he loses the rose in every other story once you defeat him so it’s probably a memento of sorts
