Snowrunner isn't dead it's just one of those games that you gotta have a long attention span to stay interested in the game it also depends on what you play on and if you like any of the mods available
Ye I don’t have many good mods on xbox
@@Dieselboyz75 same
Snowrunner will never be dead
@@Dieselboyz75 there’s plenty to mess around with.
MrBusses, GGMS, off road trailers, Jayboosted to name a few I use on ps5.
Pick truck tweaks as this keeps the MB low.
yeah. or get a low cost pc. but in all honestly it'll never die. it's always fun to replay with personal rules. like using a modded scout truck that can take gooseneck trailers. or such.
Snowrunner is far from dead, hell I just started a NG+ game that's basically Hardcore+ after I borked my original hardcore game, even have a mod that makes mud, water an cargo weight more realistic an makes even the Punisher have trouble! The Fairweather players are gone leaving us diehard players still slinging mud, Snowrunner isn't dead, but I believe is approaching the end of its typical lifespan, we're at the point where a sequel should begin preproduction, bring on Sandrunner!
Expeditions*
I love that physics mod... it kinda balances the cars out... makes the overpowered cars a bit less OP and makes the "vanilla" base game cars a little more OP... Case in point, I took the IX 70 ton rotator truck, a truck that can muscle it's way through everything, and got it hung up in some deep mud, yet I took the base game Loadstar 2070, equipped with a raised suspension, and off road tyres, not mud tyres mind you, and pulled a curtainside trailer out of the marsh.
So yeah, that physics mod is real nice. It also makes the cars feel heavier and drive better on tarmac as well...
Bring on the sand! Oh please no! That sounds like a fun area maybe within game. But u think ppl are tired of the look of SR. Imagine just a desert of sand. Just dune after rolling dune. Mud n snow can be in almost every type of environment. Desert gives u 1 look.
@@craigstanton4803 if you want deserts, sand and dunes... might I suggest Dakar Desert Rally? Also made by Sabre by the way...
The Game is great. The only concern is 'Why is everything static? No movement except me playing. Its does feel alot lonely and can become boring. Why does the creators not incorporate movements like otter traffic like in other games?
exactly Some out there play in their free time some, when they depressed, some for casual, some for completion but after an hour everyone becomes depressed of being lonely inside the game 😢😢 I feel so lonely no npc no traffics. Its just the lonely you 🥹🥹
What got me to see the game in a different, more interesting kinda way is look at it as if it were post apocalyptic. Now I get nervous thinking a zombie or something will jump out at me... especially in those areas with the glowing "eyes"... or when I hear what sounds like footsteps in the rocks near my car when I'm sitting idle...
The history of this series is very interesting certainly. I've still never gotten over the removal of Spintires from sale, and apparently more recently the removal of a vehicle from Spintires because of Saber's license with Kirovets.
Recently I've learned about and seen pictures of what Snowrunner was going to be, the early development; and sometimes I sit and wonder how different this game would have been if it was closer to Mudrunner.
Then the announcement of Expeditions, taking the series into an only scouting direction is interesting, but definitely feels more separated from what this series is suppose to be.
I still love the series, but certainly a lot to think and wonder about. The future of the series and the state of the series.
Oh, also, Snowrunner should not restrict PC players to 'console compatible' mods only just because I'm on Steam and my friend is on Epic, thats like so not cool.
Hopefully once they finish yr 3 dlc they work on some game mechanics before they move on.
We need a manual gearbox option, suspension damage from small rocks and branches needs to go, winching needs improvement, dual winches and snatch blocks should be added, more paint options or custom paint jobs, more light customization, towns should be alive with ai and the odd soul out in the bush but it might be too late for that. Permanent clearing of boulders by loader or dozer should be an option, if I save up enough to buy the equipment I want my darn roads useable, we have enough obstacles with pot holes and dips in the road.
Mods are a great addition but I can see why it got limited on console which sucks but a game shouldnt rely on mods to be good, they're bonus fun.
True
I tried to play this game recently with friends but unfortunately the netcode is still broken. With two players it lasts 15-20 minutes, and with 3 players the second player gets kicked the moment second player enters. It's a bummer. They keep selling dlcs but they seems to not bother fixing a major selling point of the game.
Yes this. Every damn time i try to help my friends, i get kicked every time someone else joins. Soooooooo fvcking annoying. One would think they would have fixed this bullshit after 3 years.
I wish they would have put together a simple tutorial video or something similar to teach people on console how to use mods if they have never used mods before. They could have put it in the mod menu with an auto play feature the first time they opened the mod menu. That would have helped out a lot I think. The ram limit really sucks. I play on console so having to constantly swap between two or three mods at a time really blows. I've been playing since day one and still play SnowRunner frequently. I played the hell out of MudRunner when that came out and loved it so SnowRunner was an obvious purchase I had to make. I don't know how much longer they will continue to add to this game but I can't wait to see whatever it is that they are working on. Great video btw.
Agree with a lot what all you said here… I’m honestly done with map making for Sr after New Haven… after playing beam so long.. with proper physics and trailing aspect…. Why majority of the original modders have moved on from this game… Spun, Nix, WrenchingMonkey, pixel, Frog, Moe, and many others including myself… not to mention that the beam devs are now listening to the community and give us a nod for our hard work… something the snowrunner devs have never done before… not once thanked the modders for what all they done.. they only reach out to us to get knowledge then just turn around and use it for there own… they refuse to listen to the community on where they should take the game… it needs a total over haul for physics.. it’s honestly like playdoh to me now… and on top of all that the community that has taken over in Sr is quite toxic and full of hate/division…. Personally will only do trucks till I see what the game brings out for the next one.. but if they do another season pass.. I will be moving on as this game has gotten to repetitive… 😮😅
its a shame you and all the other modders couldn't make your own offloading games i doubt u would struggle u have all have the skills.
Ay it’s dubby you hopin In Chat tonight if I can get Stan on we might play the hunter cotw
Yeah for some people but for me I don’t use any mods.
BeamNG has ruined other games for me. BeamNG is now the standard for me and it's a high one.
i was wondering why this comments was so onpoint then i read who it was by lol
Im kind of new to the series and snowrunner, but it would be nice to a game or big dlc where you can really iss the highway trucks. Id love to be able to haul loads with the transtar and ford
Look for the "Highway Runner" mod... it's supposed to have a lot more tarmac for your highway trucks...
However, I do agree, it seems kinda pointless to have highway trucks in a base game that has virtually NO tarmac... and the tarmac the base game DOES have seems sporadic at best...
Your talking about the community problems but that’s nothing compared to you still can’t play only with friends on Xbox
Man I started playing snowrunner last year and I particularly liked it a lot I haven't played the cooperative mode yet
I still like playing Snowrunner but I was hoping they would take the game further to its potential. I hope the developers would add more complexity and strategy in the game mechanics and tasks. The new upcoming game is a good start but I hope they would go to that route of making the game mechanics and tasks more complex and strategical.
The biggest fault Snowrunner has is that its not Mudrunner.
Alot of the great features that make Mudrunner as good as it is, dont exist on Snowrunner, recalling scouts for example, block-posts, unlocking garages with special trailers/attachments, all great features but completely axed from Snowrunner.
-The ground simulation is too basic and doesnt mirror reality/Mudrunner at all. There is very little replayability because of the maps being fixed, there is no random vehicles spawns like in Mudrunner.
-Also, the winch system on controllers is awful.
-Also, the multiplayer setup is dung thanks to Epic and Shift.
-Also, there is no workshop support.
When people talk about "Water" as just being reskinned Fuel, they also forget that all 1x slot cargo are literally the same. 2x slot cargos are all the same.
4x cargo's are all the same.
You dont need a lumber-trailer for hauling lumber, you just need a trailer, same one used for literally all other cargo.
Logging is an amazing addition and creates A SINGLE PIECE OF VARIETY, but if you ask the majority, they hate it. Because its not a 1x, 2x, or 4x slot cargo.
First off, I do not play anything online. I just stumbled upon this game and WOW I love it.
Barely started playing this game, I think I'm around 20-30 hours in. I like, it's actually pretty fun. Large trucks to the scouts and some of the mods that give the ability to get vehicles that aren't in the game is cool
I would highly recommend to play SR with friends. That makes it much more interesting. Beating amur or Wisconsin alone is just an exhausting and long process. With friends you can see progress wich makes it much more entertaining
the reason me and my friends stopped playing it is because all of us would load into a multiplayer lobby just fine. play for about 20 minutes maybeeeee 30 and then the host would crash. we would try less mods even no mods. different hosts and we’re even all on new gen. so we all stopped playing because we didn’t want to play a game for thirty minutes lose all our progress and then do it again. love the game just needs fixing
great to see a snowrunner vids!
As for the idea of putting a warning about mods, i can say from experience they will still receive complaints, theres a game called black desert and theres a quest in it where you have to type out a number in a specific chat window and the players always end up doing the wrong chat and end up submitting complaint tickets because they think the quest is broken, but it says right in the quest which chat to put it in
I've never needed mods to enjoy the game. Mods is a addiction, plain and simple.
Ill tell you what happened the developers failed to listen to is players first of we asked for full manual transmission with a clutch... not an automatic transmission that is literally what killed the game. then they decided to try & rob us of more money for shit we didn't even want... so much for fun. i for 1 am done with the gaming industry! i injoy real cars & mud much more
It's a great game with really good longevity. I've 100%d almost all the regions and still find it satisfying to play. I really do wish they would add some more innovative gameplay mechanics outside of the standard stuff it always has been. Farming, for example was a cool idea but just way to grind-ey. I love the contracts where you are building towards a big objective and you get the satisfaction of having completed a building or the rocket, for example. They could really take that concept and shrink it down into smaller missions for a new gameplay mechanic.
I've been playing Snowrunner for a while now, but I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
Guy sounds like the buddy from TFL off-road channel
It’s still a fun game
Oooh nooo another "like you said" 😂😂
Just kidding. Snowrunner far from dead for me. I have three saves running : one normal mode for testing and fun purpose, one hard when I want to punish myself a lot, and one NG + that is my main game and a suitable mix for me between both previous modes.
I agree that we could hope for some innovation in the game, but instead of constantly complaining, I prefer to play and take the fun where it is.
Snowrunner for me is a game I never thought I was needing until I tried it for the first time. No I can't think of a week without playing it for few hours at least.
Peace 🖖
Always though an amazing crossover that Snow Runner devs could do is add motorbikes with roaming AI like in MX Unleashed. Also some general AI and being able to exit your vehicle to enter other vehicles would be a welcome change.
Bikes would be awesome. Although very difficult to make them a good experience for offroad riding in game.
Being able to exit your car would be a nice change... like manually digging out of deep mud, or manually hooking the winch from one car to another... similar to Dakar 18...
Just started snow runner and I’m not even mad I’m late
TC have you noticed cars changing or moving from parking lots? I was finishing up the British Columbia Duncan Bay map last night when I noticed something odd for Snowrunner. I had parked The Punisher (the main truck I use) in one of the parking spaces at the end of the garage between two cars that were there already. I went past those spots later and some of the cars had left. Later a trailer had showed up in one of the spots and only one other car was parked in the lot, It seems like the people we never see are coming and going from their jobs. I’m not sure if it is happening in all the parking lots or just in the one at the garage.
My only experience is if you bump them or touch them they will despawn after some time like any other scenery item.
Come to think of it, you're right... I too have been seeing random cars pop up here and there...
Combination of new dlc maps, mod maps, & mod vehicles have kept snow runner alive. Just wish devs would abandon the themes, racing, fire fighting, farming, etc. Just give us better trucks and better DLC maps with actual snow. Also console mods approval process is terribly slow for Series S/X.
I've always loved spintires but couldn't get the game due to it being PC only then mudrunner/snoweunner came out and I still play both
Front wheel drive in snowrunner does not make any sense.
The international transtar 4070a needs awd and diff lock.
The pacific p16 needs awd.
The international HX needs a proper snorkel and a reaised suspension.
The caterpillar C680 needs a raised suspension.
The pacifc p512 needs awd.
The tuz 8x8 needs a snorkle.
The international scout 800 tips over too easly.
Agree the scout needs an option for wider axles, and tires.
I would like to point out you forgot to mention pavement = ice (snow maps are the exception), which is totally how pavement works 🙃
Only reason I didn't mention that is I feel like I've talked about it a TON before XD
@@TC9700Gaming Treason? XD
Let me quote my less than smart friend who drove 60+ MPH on 100% mud tires:
"Dude it was crazy, the dam ting was dancing all around the road every time I did anything (...)"
I flipped him the finger and with said finger easily bent back an forward the grooves of the tire and whispered:
" Hun-DREAD percent MUD tires, f#&@r"
He's a slightly smarter used car salesman nowdays
@@DrRacer78 LOLZ fixed!🤣🤣
@@TC9700GamingSurprised you didn't catch that lolz but you can't critique SR without bringing up the pavement physics lolz
So…. Whats happening then? Nothing, ok! Nice churn TC
Hi love your videos
I've been on switch for a couple of years playing snowrunner, but recently, I haven't been getting any mods, and I don't know
Why. I would normally get 2 to 4 mods every 2 to 3 days, but i haven't gotten any for a couple of weeks.
And I thought this vid was about the problem
I definitely like playing showrunner have no complaints love watching yr videos brother like to see them add a Kenworth W990 an a W900 Kenworth truck's
To me, the game is dead. however, i don't play the game for the career mode and dlc's, so i can totally see why someone who does enjoy those parts of the game would still be excited about it. i on the other hand, watched mudrunner videos and was blown away by the mod maps and trucks from a trail riding aspect. i was clambering for an offroad game like that on console. and i held out on buying snowrunner until mods for console came out. when i bought it, i loved it, but over time that enjoyment came to a hault. i wasn't blown away by many of the mod maps for crawling, the number of mods slowed way down, and playing online was basically useless. then playing on my own got boring when i started to realize that most trails were just a series of bumps that didn't even challenge any of the vehicles, instead of being actually making you search for traction and pick the right line. for me and the way i play snowrunner, its lost its luster and i hope the next game in the series fixes some key things, but for the folks who play it for its original intention, i hope they are still loving it.
4:30 I agree 100% Lack of innovation is evident despite the opportunities; game performance has dropped, and the updates used to be more consistent and better; this leads me to believe that year 3 is the last DLC, and this is the solution. SnowRunner needs a break, only Year 1 was planned, and we had 2 more; as much as it hurts me to say this, but this is my opinion.
I love mods. I mainly use lore friendly mods. However, though not being my thing, if you want a 100ft tall limo that can cross white pass in 10 seconds, then do exactly that.
The bickering stems from people not unstanding how a mod community works. It's not driven by what the people want but what the random dude who makes it wants. If you want / don't want something specific, either make it yourself or don't download it.
Modding is about cherry picking from the community to make YOUR perfect game not someone else's.
I love my modded trucks and scouts, but the limitations they placed on them killed the co-op experience. I made a bunch of friends playing this game and only 1 of them will still jump in a game with me after we spend a half hour figuring out which mods to use.
And that’s what happens when you play with mods they make the game boring very fast cause there’s no challenge 🤷🏻♂️
@@NickMyersify the mods make the game better. The problem is that everyone has to have the same mods enabled, so all of you have to agree on which mods to use. Turning off mods I like and downloading some that I will never use again takes a bunch of time and just makes it a PITA.
@@NickMyersify thats why you gotta find mods that are balanced or have options to be close to vanilla but improved slightly
Want to be pissed about something? Not having ffb on mudrunner in ps4, i think it broke down my t300, had to sent it to be fixed, internal fan started to make noises, i remember i was always turning the wheel forcing it to turn, i have snowrunner for PC, and i love it, its really an entertaining simulator
Waaaaaaaaa! My games crashing because I’m on an old ps4 and I’m running a NASA PC worth of mods. Gaem bad
😂 this used to be me until I realised my setup isn’t good enough so I organised my active mods and would switch between them until I managed to upgrade to a Ps5 and I’m happy now
no clue why this video reminded me of the Black E46 u used to own
Where are my OG tomcat viewers hit that >>>
Snowrunner needs beamng physics, realistic engine and transmission physics.
I just found out about mods yesterday. I never even looked at the mod browser. I thought you had to be a hacker to know about that stuff. Mods are awesome. I just wish someone would make a good mod for that first chevy you find across from the lumbermill. I love that truck.
I am addicted to snowrunner i got it the day it came out
They ruined the graphics with the x/s update
Well the way I see it is I enjoy mods but I also really enjoy the base game with dlc trucks and things yes I don't agree with something's like certain vehicles but that's just me and I enjoy the game as a whole
Snowrunner is very fun and I love I hope for season 11
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I would say mods on consoles were a blessing and a curse at the same time.. this game was exclusive to pc only.. then it was put on consoles.. so you have all the people who see the pc players running mods and think they can do it with consoles... you can but, not to the same caliber. Its just like farm simulator.
Very nice vid
I had to reboot my windows on my pc, lost access to snowrunner. Anyone have any ideas how I can get it back? The files etc are still there but the game won't run.
My biggest issue with Snowrunner was with how it released as an Epic exclusive.
If they couldve tweaked mudrunner so multiplayer terrain would sync between players, diff weathers, less washed out colors and more stuff to deliver,it wouldve been game of the year.. on the exact engine physics.. snowrunner feels like an asphalt phone game
This game honestly didnt feel like a sequel and more like different devs made it. I think what brought the downfall was how much the game differs from the prequels
Imo mudrunner was a better game the only thing snowrunner did better was more truck more customization and console mods not saying its a bad game just mudrunner was better
the ram limit on console is a bittch and i hate how few trucks i can have where i used to be able to have like 10 with no issue now u can barely have 3 or 4
I am addicted to this game but can’t play it because it crashes every 5 mins, and i play on Series X.
My version had so many glitches its unplyable.
what’s the truck you’re using in this?
Who do I contact if I want someone to make a mod and release it to the public?
but there's like a series about snow Runner since after mud runner snowrunner after snowrunner what will come out?
I’ve been playing snowrunner more Recently. It’s not dead but it just gets repetitive, you play one map and you’ve played the whole game. They keep saying they’re introducing new mechanics and are doing something unique, but even when they do bring something new, it’s not actually that different than before.
I miss MudRunner Physics Simulation and details in Snowrunner.
SnowRunner is mainstream with better graphics and DLCs.
Ok the reason why they added ram limits on console is stupid people need to take blame for there own game crashes unless its a true game crash and not done by mods
I enjoyed spintires for the rock crawling I think snowrunner just never felt the same as that also with beamng just having a better physics system the only thing snowrunner has going for it is heavy off-highway trucks which no other game does. Also the control system feels to Arcady since on wheel it just doesn’t feel proper also the shifting to me just doesn’t feel right
I stopped playing because i was tired of getting stuck everywhere and not being able to move forward in my career.
I still play the hell out of it
It's that they put off fixing bugs in favor of adding new content while that new content adds more bugs that won't end up being fixed until the next update and the process starts over again. Multiplayer on Xbox is still broken and they haven't even tried to fix it along with constant game crashes on next gen consoles
I love this game, your actually the guy that got me into this game all the way back in your spin tires days. Ive been around for quite a while. Having mods on a console to me is probably one of the most unique things ive ever seen, because in the past, this wasent even a thought to have mods on console games. To quite honest, for me, mods are the thing that kept me playing was the mods and the trucking side of snow runner, it always gave me that ICE ROAD TRUCKER deadliest roads, you know. But... I hate the ground physics in this game, the ice slide on the tires are not it for a game like this. especially when you have the highway haulin map with to me could be a innovation for what the game could become, i know the base game is mudding, but with how games are being made now adays, this franchise needs to introduce something more then just mudding even tho thats what the game was built around. Im not saying to remake and turn it in a game like american truck simulator, but in the way the gaming industry is going, its almost like they have no choice but to introduce something like that with the mudding element. Have you ever seen the show outback truckers? Well it was an Australian version of ice road truckers. People are coming to the point were games are becoming more realistic, more into the category of realistic simulators. And to be quite frank, if a game doesnt have that slight realistic simulator vibe, its gonna be left behind.
My mod browser has been down for like a week now, won't let me download any mods or delete any or see my subscribed mods list
Log out and log back in on the mod profile.
I hope 1 day my driver can out my truck😂..
Snowrunner is awesome!! I play on ps4 and it is still good
Cool Tc9700gaming
TL:DR it has been and probably always will be a niche game, irl have its moments of hype but it requires far to much attention span from the avg person.
Hey can anyone help me for my snowrunner mods, so i have 2tb free of space still and it will ln let me use 3 mods on xbox series s. Why?
Where's the mods at to begin with? Every other modding community on Steam uses the Workshop area, that doesn't exist for Snowrunner but it still does for Mudrunner. That's just one more reason why people think the game is dead. I just want a Sherp in Snowrunner like there is in Mudrunner.
I still like the game but they want wayyy to far with the ram limit on Xbox on you can't have more than 2 maybe 3 mods if your lucky
I can use a bunch. About 8 to 10 trucks before it stops me.
Imagine the next Snowrunner title with BeamNG vehicle, driving and damage physics with maps size similar to ATS and ETS2. Instead, you begin at a city, town, port or industrial area in Peru. Alive with AI and/or other online players. Drive through deserts, mountains, and snowy peaks into jungles with various levels of terrain. From highway to dirt, sand, muddy, and snowy mountain trails. Have the whole continent of South America starting in Peru. Every new country can be a new DLC and a scale of 1/10. From 20-40-year-old European, Asian, and American import trucks you can buy on a 2nd hand marketplace as a freelance driver to leasing multiple brand new trucks as a company owner.
Before you set off you have a good walk around your truck to check the condition of your old school truck. From tires, drive shaft, engine oil, coolant, etc. Just like in a Truck Mechanic simulator, you can actually repair many parts. You climb on board with realistic animation like you were in a Call of Duty game. You look at your fully interactive dashboard just like in FS2020. But wait you have to look at your 30-year paper manual locked up in your glove box first. You need to know where you can find the switch for your oil pressure.
The starting process goes as far as pulling various switches to pressing the clutch and getting your truck in first gear. (fully 18-speed manual transmission). If too much simulation is too much for the average and casual gamer have a separate arcade mode as well and be able to customize how arcade or sim you want it to be. But if I drive over a rock I should feel the stress of risking my drive shaft just like in BeamNG. If damaged you have to call in either a AI repair vehicle or call in another player when playing on a multiplayer server. He comes with a repair vehicle to perform an in-field repair or deliver a towing service. Otherwise, cargo needs to be transferred to another player. (job canceled).
Before you leave town you need to make a stop first to stack up with supplies for your driver. He needs to eat, sleep, drink, study to improve his driving skills, and complete tests to upgrade his driving license in order to get hired on different trucks, jobs, etc. Have a career/story mode from only being allowed to drive a van or 4x4 truck all the way to driving heavy loads.
Use your free time to buy 4x4 trail riding rigs and participate in various off-road competitions. Bring elements of the Dakar Desert Rally into the next Snowrunner title. Or go on complete overlanding camping adventures. Be able to interact with your gear, set up a tent, make a fire to cook a meal, or go hunting or fishing. Be able to explore the vastness of the maps. Have fully interactive elements of your vehicle. Maybe have multiple characters as well you can switch to. Just like in GTA 5. If one character needs to sleep in his cabin you can switch to another one who is on a different job or adventure.
Setting off on his journey out of Lima, Peru he comes across many interesting viewpoints. Make a few stops at a nearby gas station or truck stop for taking a rest or for some sightseeing on foot. Walk through the village and see the liveliness of other people going through their day. Make the environment more immersive. Explore a local street market and buy fresh products. Or explore ancient sites.
Have an unpredictable extreme weather system. Heavy rainfall causes roads to collapse in real time. Mud floods, thunder, hurricanes, tornados, floods, tides, currents and waves from the sea, rock falls, and avalanches in the mountains. Or even sudden earthquakes. Not like it can happen any min but the fact it does exist. Sandstorms in the desert, or simple traffic incidents you need to look out for. Also, have strict traffic regulations patrolled by law enforcement.
From driving hundreds of miles on highway roads through the deserts he made his first checkpoint. The cargo arrived at a warehouse where it needs to be transferred from a highway truck to a proper 6x6 offroad truck depending on the terrain. Or he can choose to refit offroad tires on his own highway truck and take the risk. Or the cargo could be loaded on various other smaller 4x4 so it can be transferred to mountain peaks or jungle villages. Play on a massive PVE or PVP server. Cargo missions can be completed by various players who own different trucks for different jobs. All if this plays a role in a fully interactive supply and demand job market for freelancers and trucking companies.
Should it go on? I really hope you saw that gameplay demo driving the Rivion on Unreal Engine 5.
This game is still so hung up in 2020, yet I feel the Franchise has so much more potential to create an epic next gen adventure by also looking at what other indie game devs are doing. BeamnG, ATS, Truck World Australia, Alaskan Road Truckers, Truck Mechanic Dangerous Path, Heavy Duty Challenge. Offroad Mechanic Simulator, Across The Wilds.
If SR comes with a season 4 they really need to step up their physics game engine and go much further into depth instead of selling more of the same. Otherwise, I am not buying it anymore. I actually got pretty bored with the current state of the game yet still in love with the offroad driving genre. But have yet to find a better title.
When beam ng drive fully releases I think the mud physics snow ect will blow mud runner and snow runner out of the water
What car you driving? It’s mod?
What map?
See that's where I'll have to slightly disagree with you and say that most of us weren't getting game crashes an we were just getting just the opposite and we were getting ram limit warnings where we would only beable to download two mods per the amount of space that we had which you couldn't tell in the first place and then our space was full, even for example if the mod was only 45 MB and we only had 200 MB only for conversation and example, we could not download anymore and we had to file a report because we're supposed to be able to download more than two mods and have at least four or five pages and we were only getting one page per depending on what console you were playing on.
Another issue that we were filing was that visual glitch that was happening when you looked at the mod and it said 9999 megabytes and you as a player would think that's not going to happen it's going to take up my whole entire space even if I think we had a decent mod limit in.
But then I have to agree with you on you're second part of you'r statement on the fact that we should just have no limit but a warning system in place if we're about to reach our ram limit or that the game will crash.
The other thing that was happening was a lot of the community that came to snowrunner was coming from farming simulator which allowed you to run 10 to 20 mods in one game and then you come to this game which promised to have mods right somewhat after release and then weren't right away you would find yourself being annoyed.
When mods finally did come out and You only get allowed four mods only at once to run sometimes but six pages of subscribed mods on console and you as the player gets very annoyed that you spend $60 on a game that promised better quality in everything and of course what you came for in the first place and that is mods on console I would be annoyed too.
So yes the community is still to this day even after the developers trying fixing everything and then they break something else in the process, it is annoying that you can't play the game that you were promised and in result some of the community is leaving the game to collect dust on their shelves or in their digital library and only are returning once in awhile to play the new seasons or they're not returning at all and saying don't bother wasting your money because you either can't connect properly with your friends or sometimes mods crash games or other reasons.
Another thing that needed to happen, yes this would hurt the modders and I wouldn't like this either and that would be better limitations when it comes to console when the game was unstable.
See I got the problem where my friend tried the game rage quit because he couldn't make the first tutorial turn with the starting semi in mudrunner.
Then when I move to snowrunner and showed him how improved the game was and said hey you can use mods he still doesn't want to play the game because he doesn't like the steering sensitivity or the payment physics or the way the game looked which have slightly had improved since the last game, but I have to agree with him on steering and payment physics still to this day are terrible.
And then your final final statement Yes there is a lot of things that need to be changed for the next game or for the current game that would improve the players experience and bring them back.
One thing I would like to change is well payment physics when you're running your choice of tires and where are mods are stored/ limit.
An offroad trucking game is very niche style. And the normal trucking games tend to be more bland. Like American Truck Simulator is a very bland game, but it works very well. I do think the physics are weird and such. But i do wonder how the game engine works, and i don't complain too much about the new dlcs being samey. You can't add too much in a dlc in a game in a $6.99 dlc. And lastly, people are picky, especially when it is so unque. I do somewhat blame the playerbase, and the game engine. Those two are the biggest issues imo
Nice truck is there a unbadged version?
Yes and it’s already available on console! :) Check the link in the description for the modio page and all related mod info
@@TC9700Gaming you bring up some good points in the video and I’m honestly just happy to have access to mods on consoles. I still find myself playing this game from time to time as there is nothing quite like it and it scratches an itch for gaming that I didn’t know I had.
So we going to be seeing less or about the same amount of videos for snowrunner???
What map is that
I found this game from typical gamer I think we need a new snowrunner I feel like I am doing the same thing with the new season and it’s getting boring for me
TL:DW?
What map? And is it console?
my save with the new map. i take two steps forward one step back. i’ve hauled that darn fishing boat 4 times now. it’s driving me nuts.
So many people who love off road games would agree with you i am sure as i do, it is as you say, the game is not at fault it is the players who do not think first and check what the console is capable of in as far as memory and space, most PS4's only have 500g HDD, the newer PS4 Pro most came with 1tb HDD and the PS4pro was no better than the PS4 with space or memory anyway, problem is not the game or players so much, but the spec's of the PS4 and PS4 Pro and now the PS5 which is no better in these 2 categories memory and HDD space, unless you attach an external 2tb HDD your space is always limited on any of the consoles, people with these consoles, stop being dumb and blaming the game for lack of space, the Dev's make mods and games according to s[ace and memory not what you can add or play with, what is needed is for PlayStation to make available more memory and bigger HDD as games are getting bigger both with graphics and other features and not a thought for HDD space and memory of your dam consoles, maybe it would be better to think of getting onto Sony and demanding they make Bigger HDD and memory for the price we all pay to buy a console and remember that all games are somewhat different depending on the Hardware it is written for. For the cost of a PS4 Pro or PS5 i would rather the extra RAM and HDD space to be better, not so much sound ,Graphic's and mechanic's or controllers that is already fine as is, now it's time for bigger memory and HDD space ,what else ? ,if you can think of something i would like to know.
What map are you driving in? And is it available on console?
i hate the physics of snowrunner and i hate that you can’t use a manual gearbox
The mod scene is wild
I honestly think that we may be coming up on a reveal for the next game. Not really a good thing though because id rather they just fix this game then start from scratch.
Its coming 2024 the new game is expedition
@@TK-fm1pg yeah I totally called it
Honestly the reason why I quit playing was the ram limit a warning woulda been sweet instead
I got bored after sitting for 3 hours to deliver one trailer with a buddy due to the mud is so fake in some places you just sink and no winch will help and mod vehicles are so over the top there is no point using the normal trucks in game because they only go 30 mph all of them max out at the same speed so it takes so long to deliver one tiny trailer and why is it that mods have a working winch when the truck is off but the normal trucks in the game winch is not a thing if the trucks off have the devs never heard of a second battery for the winch iv seen so many trucks that don’t need the truck running to winch out of a hole 😐
Ok, that intro was funny as hell
Where I'd the cross compatibility for pc and xbox? Some people say you can. Others say you can't. I've been looking for a way to play campaign with a couple friends but still can't. The gsme has been out long enough and instead of adding more dlc behind a paywall tha don't half way work anyway. How about we add criss compatibility. Even if you'd have to pay for it I'd pay 5$ for the ability to play with friends onnother systems.
