    This was perfect as a vanity desk for me. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMAlHv7-BBWMrPRm5-uEoD6rtdT7SG2Qr Especially the glossy finish. Easy to cleanI was looking for something that wasn't the traditional white and with more of a modern feel. This fit the bill beautifully. I put it together with no problems, by myself in under an hour.Make sure you double check where you place the drawer tracks before screwing down. I had one track that needed to be aligned with different holes than the rest.

    Was decent up until you used the nails, hard to imagine why you wouldn't use a better method to get the boards down. Could have just glued it down, or better yet placed the 2x4'x horizontally and screw it super easy from the bottom.

    • @MrSota1
      @MrSota1 8 місяців тому +2

      Yes I absolutely hated it when he started nailing. I don’t like the spacing of the boards either I would have glued them together but if that is what the customer wants I get it.

      @@MrSota1I made a dining room table from big box lumber and glued boards together. After about 15 months they finally dried all the way and pulled joints open some. Gonna use some epoxy in them to close gaps and refinish it. I wish I had gapped like he did and controlled it more but live and learn. Plus if it was for a client build it to order I guess.

    Did you not change the jig at all or just change the width of one side of the legs by cutting 1.5 inches off 4 of them? It would seem that you cut the jig when you cut the smaller pieces, I would assume by moving the fence in by 1.5 inches?

    You should never glue a table top to the base, always use Z Clips or Figure 8 Clips so the top is able to expand and contract without cracking

    LOOK MAN, I LIVE IN A SMALL FLAT AND I WILL NEVER OWN A CIRCULAR SAW, UNDERSTAND ME? BUT I WILL NEVER HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY A SIMPLE TABLE EITHER AND I NEED A SIMPLE TABLE. THEREFORE I WILL HAVE TO MAKE IT FROM VERY SIMPLE TOOLS. A HAND SAW. HAND CHISELS. A HAMMMER. A SCREW DRIVER. A SQUARE. AN ELECTRIC DRILL. CAN YOU HELP?

    • @TheReformationWoodshop
      @TheReformationWoodshop  2 роки тому +3

      I can 🤪 Take the hammer… hit yourself on the head. You’ll go unconscious and dream of a bigger space for building and an even bigger table.
      In all seriousness.. it is possible to make a table with a circular saw and a drill 🙌🏼

      @@jackrainbow560 I fully agree , it looks fantastic but how many people have a bench saw in their garage let alone a shed to work in 😂😂 although many years ago i remember skil saw bought out a bench that you attach your rip saw upside down to make a saw bench 👌
