      Dwan- was this a soul read? How could he put his whole stack when he easily could've been up against 4, 7, and nearly drawing dead
      Marius- why call when at best you're splitting (seems unlikely a bluff by Dwan against 2 players), against a potential 4 7, or against a made hand with flush redraw & you don't have blockers

      They're just keeping track at every stage, it's generally pretty simple math, and they play so much they're used to it. You can't play good poker without keeping track of the pot. Betting strategies are usually designed off %'s of the pot and the ratio of the effective stack to the pot. You also need to know the pot to know what direct odds you're getting or giving.

      Durr actually loses to a few hands here because of the 6 on the board.
      Durr's Ace and 4 give him a wheel straight. It's a double-edged sword, though, because anyone with 5/4, 3/4, or 2/4 have a 6 high straight (2 through 6), and anyone with 7/4 has a 7 high straight.
      Dwan's Ace may give him a straight, but it gives him the low end of it. The reason he played it so aggressively, though, is because he had the flush redraw.

    Marius with the Aces 100% should of re-popped pot pre-flop. I feel that was a mistake on his part. I do Not want to go 4-ways in PLO, and if I do have to go multi-way, at least make the pot big enough going in with the best hand.., but whatever.
    PLO is a hard game to play when you're playing scared money/you dont have enough bullets if you get felted

    Poor form from Charles to have input into how many times. There was so much extra in the sidepot compared to what Charles could win.

    Nice pot. I had a boat yesterday at the Aria and the guy hit a royal flush on me. I might've lost both run outs if I was in the pot against Tom.

      That’s definitely true and from a normal person’s perspective like myself, winning 52k how can u be mad at that? When you look at it from a high stakes poker player’s perspective, the guy with the least to gain out of the situation cost the guy that could only win or chop the side pot which was 700k, over double the size of the main. By running it twice it kept Tom from winning the third runout which was the ace of spade and would have changed the amount he won in the pot from a $52k gain to a $333.2k gain.

  • @PokerJosh66
    @PokerJosh66 Рік тому

    Why in the hell would he want to run it 3 times? Why would he want to give you more options to hit a hand against him. You can be upset all you want but smart move from the other guy!

  • @roadmap999

    Marius should have repotted preflop and then wins vs Charles. Instrsd he put almost 400K praying for a chop.

    Durr complaining they didn’t run it3 times think he would’ve won on that ace but didn’t realize Marius would’ve made a full house. Charles saved him 200 grand
