    This defintley made me feel homesick. Summer and fall in Edmonton is always such a great time of the year. Don't even bother acknowledging all the negative comments, they are just bitter because they have never created anything postive themselves.

    Sorry to see our first (of inevitably many) "haters" on this comments feed. Our under-appreciated city is coming into its own. A week ago, I enjoyed a similarly colour-drenched nighttime bike ride across the High Level and indulged in a thrill of hometown pride. Nice job on the video -- it's jamming my Facebook news feed!

    Everyone starts out as an AMATEUR, but apparently having expensive gear doesn't exactly make you a PRO. Never mind the UA-cam hate, great video!!

      The only guy complaining is the guy who says he is a video/film expert but only has 1 video and it is about him crying because he 'maybe' got caught of and he also films vertically and uses windows movie maker

    I really need to get down into the river valley more often. Used to go biking down there all the time as a kid.

    Great to see another video of Edmonton, don`t worry about those who are haters from Calgary, they should only know that the best thing to come from Calgary is Highway # 2 north to Edmonton...

    Superb video, thank you for showing some amazing sides to this great city. The music fit well with the images.
    There will be some haters on here but take them with a grain of salt, they have nothing better to do than try and tear something down rather than build it up, which is what you are doing.

    I live in such a great place, and I don't even know it. I dream of having moments of attending events like the ones shown on the video, and I never got the chance to do so. It makes me sad that the people I hang out with hate those types of events.

    Hi Alex- I work for some hotels in Edmonton and we are always promoting Edmonton tourism and I was wondering if you could give me permission to show this video across our social media platforms? I love the quality and think it's such an amazing and valuable piece to the Edmonton story. Please let me know! You can email me at lmilroy@westcorp.net Thanks!

      I'm not Canadian. And I've only been there once (was in Calgary). But do all of Canada's hotels require a security/damage fee before checking in..? Your guys hotels are so expensive. The people of the hotel I was checking into was refusing me from going up to my room (even though I already paid for the room via. Expedia). They said I had to pay this fee just in case I damaged anything, and would refund it to me during check-out. But it felt like I was being punished when I didn't do anything. Again, Just want to know if this is the general case for most hotels there, thanks!!

      choi maru which one were you staying at?

    • @OMGWTFLOLSMH
      @OMGWTFLOLSMH 8 років тому

      +choi maru - Not sure about online pre-paid rooms, but it's pretty standard to run your credit card at check-in for ANY hotel I've ever stayed at in North America. I've never seen an actual security or damage fee added then removed though. I think it's more about having your card "on file" for potential additional expenses such as room service, mini bar, extra nights, etc.
