The stew penetrates the goat meat and the goat meat penetrates the stew. I love the stories that goes with your cooking. Nice recipe

Thank you Yemisi for the recipe. I went to the butchers today, bought the female goat meat (cooked within an hour) and made the stewed goat as you prescribed with my own twist ( ginger, garlic & thyme). It was a cacophony of flavours! The aroma filled the whole house!! It was served with brown rice with veg and mixed beans on the side. The stewed meat is very versatile because you can serve it with any food (bread etc). My wife and kids loved it. 😎👍🏾😄

Amazing recipie. I am 36 years old, canadian and this just opened a totally different world of cooking for me. I got the goat meat at a local halal butcher. What a great experience! Could not have pulled it off without the video! Thanks and keep them coming!

Sisi Yemmie! I just love all of your recipes. I’m a black American girl married to a Nigerian. I tasted every soup and dish I could when I visited Naija so I could know how these dishes should taste when I’m learning to cook them. I just fell in love with goat meat. It’s the best flavor of all the meats. But sometimes I can’t stand the smell. But it’s usually after I have eaten it too many days in a row. The family learned that I loved goat meat, so every time I would visit another aunty, they had prepared some goat meat dish. They spoiled me. Lol
I always come to your channel for my “how-to” when I’m trying to make a new dish for my hubby. 10/10 stars all of the time. Now... where to find goat meat 😭

The stew looks so delicious, i love goat meat stew, each time i make it i always eat white boiled rice every day till the stew finish 😃 and you are right frying the goat meat and also using the same oil that was used to fry the stew helps build up a very tasty flavour for the stew, i grill mine sometimes and i sometimes fry as well. Good job sisi yemmie my white boiled rice is ready 😉 ❤

Nice recipe sisiYemmie will love to try this ♥️
In my country The Gambia 🇬🇲, we cook stew different, we use more of onions than tomatoes and peppers
We use like 10 full onions and just 5 tomatoes and 2 peppers with different vegetables and we don’t boil tomatoes and pepper and it’s the bomb trust me . You should try that too
    We call it “chuu”

I've heard someone suggest cooking the stew without covering it, like you did here. What difference does that make to the final dish?
I've also heard of Boiling/steaming the ingredients before blending and cooking. Have you heard of that one? Not sure what that does for the final taste either.

Love itttt. Chaii we cannot get that goat meat with skin here. The only thing i would do differently is add the meat stock first, then, add seasonings if needed after. The stock is really nutritious. Organic bones in meat have a lot of nutrients which go into the stock so i use all the stock first then add more seasoning if needed.
Plix bring us Tiaraoluwas birthday party ooo. Seen some of the party on yummy mums blog and it looks lit AF😍
