Love your videos. I get butcher paper from a wholesalers that do blanks and also i use white card in-between clothing as its a cheaper alternative less wasting butcher paper x
I love that you are learning as you go because it's what I'm doing. Following these because I'm thinking of getting the same printer for sublimation. Thank you so much
I have that same table runner in my stash, I was going to sublimate on it glad I saw your video first 👍🏼 would still look great made in to cushion cover
Hi, thank you so much for these videos I just ordered the EcoTank ET 2400. I was nervous about it’s sublimation quality but seeing you have the same type just newer has really eased my mind. Thank you will be subscribing and watching more of you videos!!
Hi Daynor, In enjoyed your video. Ive been looking for that PNG bundle that you are using, but can't find it. Can you let me know which one it is please. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
If you use a heat press pad you run the risk of the ink transfering to the heat pad then using the pad on another project the ink will transfer to that, that's why butcher paper is best, you can throw that away, when I use my heat pad I always cover it with butcher paper.😀
Hello, I've been using cricut design space, but you are limited to size , if I want bit bigger I use canva. Good luck with yours, I'm sure you will love it like I do .
Hi Phil, I haven't yet, in the mean time I'm still using the craft paper from Hobbycraft. It's not bad, have you used it? I'll still keep on looking though.
Are you pre coating your items with any sublimation treatment before putting under the heat press or are you literally just printing it and then putting under heat press ? Cheers
No I didn't pre coat because I was using 100% polyester, anything with at least over 65% polyester you can sublimate on, I printed it then heat pressed it on, make sure you use butcher paper underneath, inside and on top of your garment. Hope I've helped 😁
@@daynorslifestyle2091 great thanks.. so the pre sub treatment is for non clothing items like mugs , slate etc? Looking at buying my first set up this week so just loading up on UA-cam tutorials 😅 Cheers 👍
@@sykotic102 you have to use sublimation mugs, slate tumblers they all have a coating on, with cotton clothes you can get a spray to spray on but I've not used it.
Hi there, have you washed any of the sublimated fabrics yet? Interested to see whether the ink fades after it’s been washed. Looking to buy this printer and ink so would love to know how it holds up. Thanks x
Hi Julianne, yes I have been using the dish cloths and they haven't faded one bit , and the pink hoodie with the Christmas trees on, that's been washed a few times too, not faded a bit x
Hey just wondering i put the ink that came with my epson ecotank 2810 then relised it wasnt sublimation ink so i tried emptying it and got most of it out there was just a little bit more in ther and added sublimation ink (hiipoo) would that still work or not. I think you will have to flush out all the Epson ink , it will be in all pipes, may take a while, I think you will have to keep printing till it's all out, but I'm no expert, have you checked if there is any videos on UA-cam on how to flush out ink?

Hi Michaela, I set my paper type as Epson Matt, high quality, in more options document size a4 colour correction , custom, click on advanced , the colour mode I've set as Adobe RGB, gamma 2.2. that's all I changed, hope that's useful, anything else you need to know I'll be happy to help. X

How are you sublimation when it has to be back wards. Been using sawgrass. Got epson today
@magiesuniquegifts when you print it backwards, you turn it over so the ink is touching the garment then it's the right way 😁
