Solid, good enough job which honestly we in the hobby (especially those of us who interact mainly through the UA-cam side) really need to come to terms with. The important thing is getting it on the table and keeping up that inspiration to keep putting stuff on the table :)
Also, there's no way that painting the rim of the model black through an airbrush is faster than just dipping a wide brush in some primer or maybe I'm just tripping.

I’m just getting started in miniatures and already have about 5-6 hours spent on my first Ork model (a warboss) and expect to spend at least that much more time to complete him. Of course, I will admit that I’m a bit of a perfectionist and hope that I can speed up my process when I bust open the Combat Patrol set I recently purchased. 🫣
Hopefully the few vehicles I’ll be working on will go much faster. 🤣
