      Thanks! Are you planning a long hike?

      @@zuberoutdoors6137 Not exactly. I only do day hikes at the moment, maybe I will try a longer hike in the future. But these tips are great for other types of trips as well when you want things to be lighter and take up less space. I also like some of the do it yourself ideas.

    Nice! Let me know if you find that odour proof bag again. Ya Zpacks backpacks are a bit fragile

    • @zuberoutdoors6137
      @zuberoutdoors6137  4 роки тому

      seems like most people use "nyloflume" bags as pack liners nowadays

      @@zuberoutdoors6137 Ya, I use a trash compactor bag (2.5 oz), and was considering Nylofume bags, but I like the idea of using the odour proof one that you found

    Hi, does the tent was convenient during your thru hike for an every day use ?

      I love the tent! I use it still for almost all my trips. Although it can be a bit snug at times. Once the bugs die down I use it without the inner part too. Hope this helps!

    So u just packed the xmid in that outside mesh pocket.. Stuffed it in there??

    • @zuberoutdoors6137
      @zuberoutdoors6137  3 роки тому +1

      Well I actually had it in a stuff sack and hanging across the bottom of my bag. but about 30 days in the straps ripped off my backpack so i was forced to come up with a new system. So yes for the duration of the trip I either put it in the front mesh, or inside my bag if I had room.

      @@zuberoutdoors6137 cool. I love that outside mesh pocket on my packs. So convenient!! Thanks for replying!!!

      @@dirtbagoutside Literally the one thing that keeps me coming back to ZPacks. I swear the mesh pocket is never too full to fit more.
