@@zuberoutdoors6137 Not exactly. I only do day hikes at the moment, maybe I will try a longer hike in the future. But these tips are great for other types of trips as well when you want things to be lighter and take up less space. I also like some of the do it yourself ideas.

I love the tent! I use it still for almost all my trips. Although it can be a bit snug at times. Once the bugs die down I use it without the inner part too. Hope this helps!
Well I actually had it in a stuff sack and hanging across the bottom of my bag. but about 30 days in the straps ripped off my backpack so i was forced to come up with a new system. So yes for the duration of the trip I either put it in the front mesh, or inside my bag if I had room.

seems like most people use "nyloflume" bags as pack liners nowadays
