I saw Flobots on Wednesday and met them after the show. I would just like to say, that Jonny5 and Rabbit are two amazing people. They are both so sweet and appreciate their fans. They sang this song and had us sing the chorus. I believe in their message, and I feel as if more people should hear their music. They are incredibly underrated due to their political insight. The entire band is fantastic live and they are all so sweet. It's so surreal to listen to their music and think of the concert.

when i was younger,Flobots's 'handlebars' was a song that marked my childhood, i listened to it everyday, so, years later Rise Against is my favorite band, and some days ago i remembered the good times i had listening to handlebars so i watched it and saw White flag warriors ft. Tim ( I thought it was going o be some new stupid artist or something till i read:) Mc Ilrath, and instantly reconnected with my childhood :)
flobots and tim Mcllrath are the 2 very good artists to work together, they both have have amazing music, and all the music they all have important messages that should be heard by the public society around the world, some ignorant ppl may not see the message in some of flobots and or rise against's music, but they all have amazing ways of showing the problems that society, politics, government etc. has. flobots and rise against should work together more often. thats pretty much all i had to say
This song makes me feel gross, and it took me many, many listens to figure out why. Martyr and murderer are not roles you should be putting on children. As an adult you can martyr yourself or be a murderer, but it is disgusting to push that onto children. Your role as an adult is to protect children from that at any cost.
It's only impossible if everyone thinks that way. They're all conditioned by global politics, but frankly I couldn't care less. I live my life how I see fit and to hell with the rest of the world. I won't go as far as to call myself an anarchist, but all these massive governments need to go. What we need are small town counsels where the voice of the people is actually heard and where the only things enforced are necessary laws. (no killing, stealing, destruction of property, etc.)

We request to negotiate
We come to you unarmed
We desire to communicate
You cannot do us harm
For one sacrifice,
they have schemes and ask me to follow their path to the afterlife

for nice things and the dreams that my enemies could be blasted by
Ooh metaphors
Views that are better for you can't survive or find your competitor

When gladiators
Breathe their last
Scream en masse
When the dreams do clash
Like swords in the war
let me bleed on that
Put the heat on that
Say we need strong backs
call us weak
and don't redeem contracts
But the feast wont last
When this beast attacks
The sons and the fathers
will be free at last
This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason
They see sharks in the estuary
They claim the arch of Bartholomew's

Martyrs than murderers (We come to you unarmed)

TIM!!! everything you touch becomes gold!!!!
This is like a second Linkin Park in a way
when i was younger,Flobots's 'handlebars' was a song that marked my childhood, i listened to it everyday, so, years later Rise Against is my favorite band, and some days ago i remembered the good times i had listening to handlebars so i watched it and saw White flag warriors ft. Tim ( I thought it was going o be some new stupid artist or something till i read:) Mc Ilrath, and instantly reconnected with my childhood :)
This makes no sense... This is a rap-like song..that actually sounds good, and has an amazing message.
I must be dreaming.....this can't be happening
Rise Against anyone?
flobots and tim Mcllrath are the 2 very good artists to work together, they both have have amazing music, and all the music they all have important messages that should be heard by the public society around the world, some ignorant ppl may not see the message in some of flobots and or rise against's music, but they all have amazing ways of showing the problems that society, politics, government etc. has. flobots and rise against should work together more often. thats pretty much all i had to say
This song makes me feel gross, and it took me many, many listens to figure out why. Martyr and murderer are not roles you should be putting on children. As an adult you can martyr yourself or be a murderer, but it is disgusting to push that onto children. Your role as an adult is to protect children from that at any cost.
Obviously? Those two options are the results of a wartorn society.
War is a necessary evil. A white flag warrior is a pretty concept, but impossible.
I may be Hindu but I certainly agree with you :)
I'm not sure it's a necessary evil, but it certainly is an unavoidable one.
Man is nature. Nature is chaos, and chaos is war. (Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum, Bede, 731)
Josh Groff Yeah, honestly if the area is too large for you to know every town around you and it's general workings, its too big for you to run.
