The guy who showed me this song was such a unique and amazing person...years ago, he helped me learn about myself in a time when I wanted to die. He showed me so much happiness when I thought I’d lost everything. He was my friend, and we shared a deep loss and love for the small, sweet things. He passed away recently, and I think about him all the time. It hurts my heart to know I won’t get to sit and laugh with him anymore, but his memory lives on in the songs and movies we sat and viewed together. He couldn’t find this song for years until I helped him look it up, and we sat and jammed to it over and over. Now I listen to it on repeat and reminisce. You were one of my greatest friends, JB, and you’re sorely missed. A part of me will always love you. But for now, we’re just gazing at the moon. ♥️
