SRS Mercedes Benz W164 error solution Part: 2

May be for two yeas I had this problem and it was vary annoying to see all the time the SRS dash light on.
IT Is very important to KNOW that after the replacement You have to clear all error codes, otherwise the error will continue to be shown on the dashboard.
STEPS:
1. Remove the 4 bolt;
2. remove the plastic covers;
3. remove the connectors;
4. then follow the video and replace the sensor;
5. put everything back together and on it's place;
6. CLEAR the old error with a scanner

Do you know by any chance the other cable from the seat, the one with black connector, what it is? it is cut from under the seat and i have a Front Left restraining issue.

not able to attached picture, but if is this one. it is for the heat of the seat the yellow one is for SRS sensor. Everything else on the seat is for the motors

Hi, I have an error in the board "SRS, restraint system faulty drive to worshop", this error appeared after I moved the seat further forward or further back, what could I do? (at my Mercedes benz a class A170, 2005 oil 1.7)

J'ai eu le même problème, je pense que vous êtes bien pris la tête, déjà le faite de démonter la connectique jaune le système SRS se met automatiquement en défaut même si vous remettez la connexion jaune, pour cela il faut juste la valise diagnostique pour retirer le voyant rouge sur le tableau de bord. Cela arrive quand on veut changer la batterie sous le siège pour cela il ne faut pas toucher aux connexions jaunes, les Srs chez Mercedes sont fiables rarement de problème.
