Is good to know, in case a T-rex decides to chase the vehicle

It's always nice to see you out driving around in your beautiful neighborhood. Is so peaceful and relaxing, like we the viewer, are actually going on a journey. Doesn't hurt to see the Autumn colors in the trees as well. Happy driving.

It was nice to see people waving at each other, nice neighbourhood, good scenery in parts, thanks!

I love living in Raleigh. People are so friendly here, for sure.

The turn signal logic is an understated issue with FSD beta. It is just so common that it handles signaling wrong that I don't even think about it now.

So much opposite signaling! That I can’t understand at all.

Leaf piles. Nice! The level of details you notice and point out in your videos is just unmatchable. Just curious: what's your rules for reporting by pressing the record button? You don't seem to press it a lot in your videos..

I drive many, many miles not on video. That’s where I worry about the button. I focus on driving and staying out of the way of the screen for videos.

    Fix It or Ticket

I'll show my self out due to that one

Re: your personal etiquette. I would like FSD to be trainable to fit an individual driver's politeness. I'm like you, I signal early and often, and try to indicate to pedestrians that I see them by fudging over the center line well in advance. But I realize that if FSD adopted my style of driving it would frustrate the average American robo-taxi passenger.

Yep. Every now and then I get someone commenting about how I must be afraid to drive because I am always cautious and try to be nice. lol

I just couldn’t be bothered having to ‘hover’ over an automated driving system just to be assured of safety. It’d be more comfortable to just drive normally but maybe that’s just a uk 🇬🇧 thing 🤷🏻‍♂️, we hardly use cruise control here let alone radar cruise or auto drive systems

So, this is a Beta test program. It’s not software intended for public release. Many of us enjoy doing the hovering while the software learns how to do things better. It definitely can be stressful, but I have a button I can push to go to public software whenever I need a break.

I still wonder if FSD will ever allow me to take my attention away from what is happening on the road. If not, I have spent a lot of money for very little return.

    • @TheTechofTech

That will depend on regulation. Right now, driver attention monitoring is implied in NHTSA approval of consumer ADAS from all manufacturers.

Why were you driving to have someone else inflate your tires? Was it just to make a video?
