I regret what doesn't come across is my admiration for the dedicated staff - Long-time Railway workers who genuinely care about the system and seem just as frustrated as the customers
(we're not allowed to be called passengers).

Standing for nearly an hour is standard practice for me commuting SWR from Windsor to Waterloo!
If you are on the Portsmouth line you might see 12 car 458s soon to replace the 442s which you know.
Come to America and ride amtrak. They never on time. Oh and no compensation at all. Only im sorry.
I wouldn't be able to record myself with loads of people surrounded around me 🤣
Why get rid of SWT and the service remains subpar? The same thing happens in NYC with the commuter rails and the subway. These organizations do not value peoples’ time clearly. I was frustrated for you 😂

Same old problems...go back to 88/89 when i first started commuting into London. Same problems then as there are now . Except the price?

Ern railway did you bad on Thursday
Chippenham/Swindon area now but was Southend into London for years same problems. Late trains, over crowding and coming home was a nightmare? You ever tried getting on a Southend bound train at West Ham. Madness. I would often have to go back to Fenchurch Street just to get on a train as they was all full. Jam packed by the time they got to West Ham or Barking. Regular 12 hour days including travel. Standard.

I live near GWR - the trains are sometimes on time however most weekends there is some sort of disruption on the network - also most trains are being replaced with class 800! I need to get use to ironing board seets
