Man I wish I had the same confidence in Husqvarna that you do. I really like the products, my LC19AP is awesome (10 years old without an issue), but they totally shafted me on a warranty claim on a curved shaft trimmer. It was about 2 years old, and with their oil the warranty was meant to be extended to 5 years. I took it in for a service and when I got it back it was impossible to start. Took it back to them and after some back and forth turned out to be a damaged piston. They refused to repair it under warranty claiming it was caused by me not operating the unit at full throttle. Very disappointing after sales, and has left a bad taste in my mouth. Won't be giving them another chance without a significant amount evidence showing they've changed. I'm about to pull the trigger in a bunch of Stihl gear now as a result, but definitely happy to hear I'm wrong and they've improved.
Also find your information a little confusing in the video around 11.55 onwards your holding and talking about being way over powered and saying 535 in your right hand, The 535irxt is the bulbar version they don’t make a loop handle battery version that size 35cc equivalent, eg both those machines your holding are 325ilk”s
Hey mate, Yes I did make a mistake in saying 535 I meant to say 325ilk, but il stand by my point they have as much power as a 35cc petrol unit. Whist this isn’t a offical rating it would keep up with a 35cc unit any day of the week. Husqvarna have just brought out a new range of battery trimmers. While they both look the same they are different models one is a 325ilk and the others is the new 525ilk. Both of there models will also now come out in the 3 different configurations as well being multitool d handle and bulbar. Hope this clears up things for you.
@@mowtechau Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of 325ilk’s already there a fantastic machine for regular lawns and will upgrade to one of those newer 525ilxt’s one day but I don’t think they have 35cc power more like the power of 525lst petrol maybe even a little less. If husqvarna brought out a loop handle battery 35cc equivalent I would buy it straight away because of the above reason being the 325ilk is on the 25cc level.. As they make a relatively light machine with good variable trigger speed. Possibly use the engine from the current 535irxt in one or a newer upscaled version. I’m going out next week to look at the new ego stx4500 which claims to have 35cc power and use it to compliment the 325ilk for any bigger jobs.
