Man, I’ve always been a front delt heavy person. I’ve never understood why my shoulders grow and my chest doesn’t. I’m so glad I found your channel! Complete game changer! Thanks bro!
I know I'm a little late in this video but I tried these tips and cues today and I still have a decent pump 6 hours later. This man is seriously the best
The way you describe the lifts really hits for me. I've been recovering from a shoulder injury most of the year and I'm finally back with better form AND stronger than I was before thanks, in no small part, to your advice on this channel. Keep doing what you're doing, brother!
Mike Can you make video(s) on rebuilding chest and shoulders with RC injuries? We both have the exact same injuries mine is on my left shoulder! I'm almost done rehabing it not it's time to rebuild. I haven't done chest or shoulders in over 2 months!
Martin- I hear you mean, sometimes the Smith Machine Presses just don't feel great and then I'm wondering is it my form even though I'm trying to press as Mike says or just the locked in motion. It's frustrating with a RC issue
@@analogcrunch4716 Lots of adjustments! I did dumbell press with 10s on the floor and had to find the right angle for the elbows almost 45 degrees to the the body otherwise my shoulder clicks and jams! But no pain!!!!! Also I was told from my PT no more overhead movements as it's the worse movement for shoulder issue as it narrows the joint gap. Lift your shoulder overhead, no weight and you will see how narrow that joint becomes.
Great video as usual. I've run these before and they blew up my chest. John Meadows called them twist presses. Much smoother and way easier on the shoulders.
Mike, Do you have tips for a stubborn chest? I am 6ft and 185. Fighting poor genetics, but seems like I struggle to get any pump feel in my chest. Thanks for the great videos.
the form/setup adjustments totally makes sense when watching your videos. But they are so hard to actually implement in my own training. Like, I cant get my head around when it gets to actually executing them! Nevertheless, great job putting them out there!
If anyone follows these principles which he illustrates, on any pressing movement, from dips , pushups, chest machines, to bench press etc., an individual’s chest will be fucking lit up
Coach Mike has really changed the way I think about the gym don't risk form for weight love this guy
Wish I would have learned these things 25 years ago. Sure has helped and with way less weight.
Same bro same

Awesome vid man! Watched this right before I worked on chest. Wound up using maybe half my usual weight and feeling my chest like crazy. Thank you.

Hey Mike what’s your opinion on grip width on chest movements as far as contraction and activation goes?
Big fan! Just curious what your thoughts or tips you have on cables for chest?
👍👍bonne video !! Merci pour les conseils !! 💪💪
Such a small variation makes a huge difference. Thanks Mike. 👍🍺
Ready to learn!
These videos are gold
Been dB pressing like that since 93
Interesting info. This looks like a good way to get a good pec contraction at the top of the lift. Thanks

Hahah immediately " never seen more dumb shit" 😂 I appreciate you big mike
I do these at the end of my workout with i think max 20to24 kg and inget a really good stretch and contraction of these
I press like this but with the rotation in reverse. Will that make a difference?

Preciate you big dawg.

Does your head movement help the chest or what’s that movement for?
Would you implement this with incline dumbbell as well?
Yeah I think he’s gonna suggest that.
Thanks G 💪
Big Mike you should go to the places that are making the machines and tell them the way it should be done 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
Big Mike goes to Italy? Panatta showroom equipment demo, but he's covered in those EMG stickers he hates 😛

3:00 4:50
I thought that he doesn't ever lock out? Maybe I'm wrong on that
I would love to know what exercise he just saw get butchered at the gym that prompted his opening comments....
