This is absolutely terrifying. It's like seeing footage of a zombie apocalypse from an helicopter.
it's what i was thinking. It felt uncanny, when it looked like live news footage from a helicopter, about some virus outbreak.
I've been thinking about it for a while, what will happen when videogames get indistinguishable from reality? For example, in GTA 7 when you shoot an NPC, his brains and guts spill out with graphics that look like actual real life, will people still find it fun?

@@VooDooEf The wokies are exactly who will fight for it to happen. Personally, I only find ultra-violence in games to be entertaining when it doesn't look real. I'm about as conservative as they come, lol.

Cause this is basic copy and pasting done by software. trying to achieve this in a game is another thing but at the minute it’s more a dream than reality don’t get me wrong it can be done to a certain extent but wouldn’t be as smooth

Not yet, but a few more years and we can run things like this in in real time. The quality and consistency will also go up massively once we pass buffers and labels from the game directly to a neural network instead of just letting machine learning do guessing work on a finished image.

@@Dr.W.Krueger Not even a $20k PC would run a game like that... to give you an idea, just one frame takes more than half an hour to render, so imagine a PC that can generate that at 60 frames/s. I don't think even the best current setup would be able to generate 1% of that... only AI with hundreds of $40k Nvidia chips.

I love it. We're getting so close. The only thing I'd change is to have the prompt make the vehicles nothing newer than 1993. Beyond that, it could be pretty cool to have it use an overlay or filter to make it look like a news broadcast on TV in the early 90's. Just concepts for another video, perhaps, Again, great stuff. I'd watch tons of this type of gameplay "footage." Well done.

Most terrifying and thought provoking to me about this, is the concept of simulation hypothesis, that with this kind of technology we are slowly making the very simulation that everyone denies the concept of being submitted too, but its slowly becoming everyones reality.

Now I’m hoping one day someone makes a “unnecessary super realistic graphics” mod for the game.
Specifically “unnecessary” and just trying to make as high quality of a image that is possible, regardless of the consequences.
But this made with Runway Gen-3, we can't (for now) doing this... But we can see this MAYBE in 2, 3 or 5 or 10 years in the future.
Wth this is interesting it looks like an aerial footage from the news. I played PZ for a long time and this is what it feels like.

The stealth mode we deserve.
You should definitely try this effect with Squad, would be cool to see what it looks like.

This filter looks absolutely fuckin sick, the only complaiment is that it deforms the zombies and survivors, but apart that, is amazing
This is cool. Shame the blood doesn't translate over. Would be even more of an upsetting and disturbing effect if the gore was there on the realism filter. Plus some of the vehicle glitches were pretty funny. But outside of that, it looks insane and good.

damn wow, this is fr the future, altough i think the stylization of some games are in many what gives them their unique charm, its still totally cool how many new thinks we could get with this technology.. i mean replay value or even combining some stylized graphics with rt ai generation for some graphical details and creative ideas that otherwise would be more difficult, pricey or time consuming to make.. this is start of something awesone and it's just about time 'till some big company will look into these more, matter a fact they prbly already do..
