This project is a proof of concept that explores the possibilities of a technology still in development. For the time being, the technology is based on information from videos, but it could be possible to extract data directly from in-game geometries and textures to create even more faithful, higher-quality images. Of course, all this remains hypothetical for the moment, as the generation of these videos is extremely resource-intensive. However, with the advances to come, we could see real-time rendering in the years to come. 🚀

When i later learned that GTA3 is modable, i always thought how cool it would be, to see my hometown, or other interesting places as an map expansion. I dreamed of an open world game, that has the real world as map. Very soon AI is able to explore everything on the web, download and run software including games and roam freely through streetview like a person and can use all this data to build a perfect game, with so many details, a studio with human developers could never deliver.
